Ingredients: 1 live snakehead (about 1000g), 500g black beans, 20g licorice, appropriate amount of yellow wine and sugar.

Kill snakehead alive, remove scales and gills, disembowel, save liver, wash and dig dry, and cut into pieces for later use.

Remove impurities from black beans, wash them, pour them into a big casserole and soak them in cold water for about half an hour.
