A case of seeking to overcome disease.
Jia Pingwa, a famous writer, is a famous old patient in the literary world. When he was in his thirties, he got hepatitis B. At that time, he went to almost all famous hospitals in Xi 'an for treatment, but he was not cured and almost died. But after he was forty-five, he recovered unexpectedly.

Have you ever talked to your body? Have you ever thanked your organs?

Recently, I read an article in "Scientific Health Preservation" about how the writer Jia Pingwa cured his illness.

So Lu Yu once interviewed Jia Pingwa on this issue.

Lu Yu asked, "I heard that your hepatitis was cured by yourself. What method did you use? " Jia Pingwa said: "The most important thing is to relax. Another trick is to chat with your liver. Treat everything with gratitude. You should be kind to all the organs of your body. When you sleep at night, thank every organ of your body. "

When the liver is uncomfortable, he will say to the liver: You are ill, but you still have to work for me. You must be patient. When the liver is better, he will say, thank you, you are so obedient, and I feel much better today. He talks to his liver every day, as if comforting another self. When caring for the liver, you are actually caring for yourself. In this way, many years later, his liver disease miraculously improved. Many years have passed and he is living healthier and healthier.

Jia Pingwa once wrote in the Financial Times that I am a famous patient in the literary world, and almost all my days are uncomfortable here and there. Especially in his early thirties, he got hepatitis B and was ill for nearly twenty years. In recent years, my arms and legs have been strong, but my liver disease has healed. Knowing that liver disease is gone, many people come to ask for prescriptions. My answer is that there are two things that can make them healthy, and that is to relax and do more good deeds.

This is my way of relaxing: it's just a disease. Each of us will experience death, but we can't sum it up. And disease is the transition between life and death, and it can be a philosophy class that permeates life! It will be all right soon. If you can't cure it for a while, you will live in peace with the disease. If you are tortured, you will be tortured. If you can't cure it in the end, you're dead. Are you afraid of death even if you are alive?

As for doing good deeds, help others if you can, not just listen to others. Respect strangers when dealing with strangers, and tolerate acquaintances when dealing with acquaintances.

The following text is taken from Chapter 6 of Jia Pingwa's My Outlook on Life, Disease is a Philosophy:

When I was in my thirties, my health was the worst. I have liver disease, especially hepatitis B. At that time, no one could be cured. Xi 'an's large and small hospitals are not large and small hospitals, but are basically well-known hospitals. I have lived in it. I live every year, often for half a year, the shortest two or three months. At that time, most of my patients have died now, and some of them have not died yet. When we talked about it, we felt very sad that someone had died again.

After forty or fifty years old, I'm basically fine and fully recovered. I don't know what to do. Many people ask me what's going on, and I can't tell myself, because people always think that hepatitis B can't be cured according to common sense.

Personally, I think it is most important to relax. Let's take liver disease for example. One is self-tension and the other is family tension. Family tension naturally restricts you, saying that this disease is an infectious disease. Of course, you should order dishes, towels, urinals and so on when eating. After all this has restricted you, have you been saying that you are a patient and that you are a patient, which has strengthened your memory? After being hinted, it works when people become numb. So I think the family should first forget that you are a patient and relax mentally. If you don't relax, the better you treat him, the more he strengthens himself as a patient, which is not good. When I first got this disease, my family cried behind my back and felt hopeless. I remember that when I was in hospital for more than 90 years, an author came to see me. He is a very honest man. When he came, he inadvertently said his thoughts. He said I didn't remember until I got on the road. A talented person's life is short. Speaking of this, he first smiled and said, look at my nonsense. I know what he means, which means that my life is not long, because I was under great pressure myself at that time. Two years ago, I met a comrade-in-arms, that is, a patient. He said, you were really serious. You have hepatic ascites.

I think that after a person is sick, his thinking is different and sensitive, at least very sensitive. A bit like a poor man, preoccupied, always afraid that others will look down on him, or that someone will treat him badly. After getting sick, it's easy to feel natural things when the wind blows outside. It turns out that what others say is this kind of life experience. I understand that life experience is like a tree. When spring comes, it will surely sprout. When summer comes, its leaves will become lush, when autumn comes, its branches will dry up in winter. The same is true of people. For example, at the age of 30, the human body is a feeling of nature, at the age of 40, it is a feeling, and at the age of 50 and 60, it is another feeling. It is a feeling for you to be a healthy person. As a patient, his feelings must be more sensitive. He often looks at problems from a weak point of view. He is not very strong. He is ill and his face is pale. There can be no such thing as high spirits. His life, including making a scene, is pessimistic and gray. At least I can realize that there are many parts that are clear, sad and feminine. He didn't exist for competition and enterprising. These things are gone. But if I am strong, I must be passionate, even loud and sunny, which is definitely not the case now.

In addition, I always think that some diseases are brought by fate, because some diseases are cured for no reason and have not been cured, and some diseases are crucial for a long time. I used to say this to my children. The child used to be sick, but she is also in the process of getting sick. Nothing can be cured. Later, I told her that you have this disease, which may be a disaster from heaven. At least you should know how to bear it or enjoy it. Since someone gave it to you, you have to endure it first. In the process of patience, learn to enjoy, so that it is no longer trouble. Just like when a person is resting, it is noisy outside. The more annoying, the more I can't sleep. Then you simply appreciate it and think it's beautiful. After enjoying it, it will pass.

I have always had a habit that when I write at home, the curtains are never opened and the lights are on all day. I like a house without windows. People always say that I have the habit of Lin Biao, but I think it's good to be quiet. So at that time, the ward also had the benefits of the ward, and the heart could calm down. One person, no one will bother you anymore, and the other person has a rich imagination. After illness, such as intravenous drip, lie in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours. People often sit still and think about traveling, which makes their imagination better. I remember Taibai Mountain published in Shanghai Literature was written at that time, in the Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Medical College. There is an earlier Blackstone, which was also written in the ward.

Thoughts on how steel is tempered.

Paul, the hero of this book, makes me feel respected.

After being expelled from school by teachers and priests, Paul became friends with Tonya in an accidental meeting. Under the guidance of Zhu, an assembler, he learned that the Bolsheviks were revolutionary parties fighting for the liberation of the poor. He reluctantly bid farewell to Tonya, fled his hometown, joined the Red Army and became a strong Bolshevik fighter. However, his physical condition deteriorated, his right leg became disabled, and the dark injury of his spine became more and more serious, and finally he was paralyzed. However, he did not feel depressed because of this, and began a difficult writing career, from which he made a good start in his new life.

I admire Paul's indomitable revolutionary spirit, which is not afraid of illness and setbacks. He always struggles for the revolutionary cause. He was once unfortunately infected with typhoid fever. With strong perseverance, he miraculously came back from the death line and returned to the hot job without hesitation.

What moved me most was the following story.

Almost all the league organizations in Solomonka District went into battle. The Communist Youth League Committee went to three people-Du Bawa, pankratov and Paul. These three people were personally selected by Comrade Zhu. The railway repair work has begun, and no one expected that the conditions would be so difficult. The cold autumn rain soaked people's clothes, heavy and cold; Surrounded by desolation, hundreds of people can only sleep on the concrete floor of four broken houses at night, wearing wet and muddy clothes, huddled together tightly to keep warm. In the morning, everyone drinks some tea and then goes to work. Lunch every day is clear soup and black bread like briquettes. However, with infinite loyalty to the revolutionary cause and strong revolutionary perseverance, they accomplished the task brilliantly.

The most precious life belongs to everyone only once. That's how people should spend their lives. Looking back, one should not regret wasting one's time, nor should one be ashamed of doing nothing ... "

"How should people live?" After reading this book, I have a perfect answer to this question.

I read, read, Paul's resolute face, as if in front of my eyes, he, an ordinary soldier, has an iron will. What is this power that drives him and inspires him to move forward? That is the great cause of * * *. This is also the driving force for his tenacious struggle with the disease.

Paul taught me how to treat diseases correctly and how to overcome difficulties. He can fight for the cause of * * even if he is paralyzed; How can I, a child raised by the sunshine and rain of the party and the people, be intimidated by some trivial difficulties?

Almost no one wants to live a mediocre life, because even the grass is trying to add a trace of green to spring, hoping to leave its own figure on the colorful picture scroll of spring and return to the earth. But not everyone can make good steel.

So how is steel made? I believe there will be a fiery steelmaking scene in everyone's mind. In fact, life is like steelmaking! Nothing is born. There is only one way to change "iron" into "steel"-refining! Some people say that Paul is a born hero, but there is no born hero in this world. Paul was able to become a hero because of his own efforts-he did not flinch in the face of the test of life and death on the battlefield of war; In the windy and snowy construction site, he did not fall down in the face of unbearable labor intensity and hunger and cold; In the case of blindness and illness, he still did not give in in the face of the relentless blow of the loss of manuscripts and the deterioration of his health. Finally, he grew from a poor boy to a fighter with lofty ideals, noble character and tenacious style.

Life can be said to be a tortuous road. In the journey of life, you will encounter many difficulties, face the blow of failure and the pain of not being understood, and so on. However, all this is short-lived. After breaking through obstacles and overcoming difficulties, looking back at the road we have traveled, we will find that it is the flame that sharpens life. How many heroes and great men are trained in the burning flame, as people often say: "The blade comes from sharpening, and the plum blossom fragrance comes from bitter cold." Compared with Paul, the difficulties we encounter in our study and life are really insignificant. What reason do we have to sigh and shrink back?

Only by setting up lofty ideals, cultivating excellent quality and persistent pursuit can a person not be dragged down by life and crushed by misfortune, and will he be strong and mature in the raging flame of suffering, love life, enrich himself and meet a better tomorrow.

The bell of 2 1 century has rung, and it is of great significance for us to stand on the threshold of the new century, look for the heroic complex of the past and reshape the "Paul spirit". For the prosperity of our great motherland, let's follow Paul's example, practice life and embrace the future optimistically.

Hawking's example of overcoming disease

Fate is also cruel to Hawking. 17 years old, admitted to the famous Oxford University. 2 1 year old, suffering from atrophic lateral sclerosis. The doctor said he could only live for two and a half years at most. Like a flower that is about to open, Hawking's life is facing severe challenges. If he is weak in the face of fate and says to himself, "Forget it, anyway, there are only two and a half years left", he may lead a miserable life and disappear from mediocrity. However, Hawking thought, it is death anyway, no matter how powerful fate is, the worst is just that. He said to fate, "Suit yourself." He said to himself, "Time is only two and a half years, not much. We should try our best to do something meaningful and leave a little glory for life. " The disease kept attacking him. His condition is getting worse and worse, his muscles are shrinking day by day, his walking is becoming more and more unstable, and even it is difficult to stand. He worked hard to fight aggressive diseases. He insisted on going upstairs by himself. The strength of his legs is so weak that he can only struggle upstairs by holding the handrail with his hands.

The condition is getting worse. Hawking finally couldn't stand it and got into a wheelchair; His fingers have lost their ability to move, and only two of the ten fingers can still move. 1984, he had a hard time speaking and couldn't speak clearly. It was a long time before I said a few words. 1985, he got pneumonia again, and his trachea was cut during treatment. Since then, he has never made a sound, and he can only say it in his heart. Later, people installed a computer and a speech synthesizer in his wheelchair. He only used two perfect fingers to knock out what he wanted to say on the keyboard, formed corresponding sentences, and made sounds through a speech synthesizer. He used this method to conduct academic exchanges and make academic reports.

Fate has brought Hawking too much suffering, which ordinary people can't imagine and bear. But fate seems to flinch in the face of his tenacious challenge. A year and a half passed, and another year and a half passed, and he was still alive.

But Hawking's challenge to fate not only means that he can live, but also means that he created fate. My feet are failing, my hands are failing, and my mouth is failing. I need the help of others or machines to walk, eat and talk, and my weight is only 40 kilograms. However, he has a good brain. He asked his assistant to spread the information on a small table and read it page by page. His body never left the wheelchair, but his thoughts flew out of the earth, out of the solar system, out of the Milky Way, into the depths of the universe tens of billions of light years away, and into the mysterious black hole. He imagines, demonstrates, infers and calculates in his mind. He thought about when the universe began and whether time had an end. He discovered the evaporation of black holes, deduced the big bang of black holes, and established a very beautiful and scientific model of the universe.

Hawking became a great astrophysicist. His scientific work A Brief History of Time-From the Big Bang to the Black Hole is popular all over the world, with a circulation of 6.5438+million copies. He was elected as a member of the Royal Society, and became a professor of Lucasen's mathematics lecture, which only a great scientist like Newton could join. Hawking not only conquered the scientific community with his achievements, but also conquered the world with his tenacious fighting spirit. His behavior shows that man can challenge his own destiny.

Psychological anti-cancer has a miraculous effect

First, faith therapy.

There is a true story: several people are joking with a young man. They bound the young man's hands and feet, blindfolded him and carried him to an abandoned railroad track, where a train just roared by. When those people came forward to untie him, they found that the young man was dead.

American psychology professor pointed out that his death was not only because of fear, but also because of faith. When people and animals believe that they have no hope of survival, this belief that they will die sometimes leads to the tragedy of death.

Scientific research proves that everyone has extraordinary potential. Once stimulated, people will get unexpected gains, even miracles. Confidence can stimulate this potential. Therefore, we should get rid of bad emotions as soon as possible after getting sick and make up our minds to overcome the disease stubbornly no matter how much pain we suffer. Believe that miracles will happen to you.

Second, imagination therapy.

In radiation therapy, you can imagine that radiation is killing cancer cells in your body. When nothing happens, the patient imagines that his whole body is unobstructed. Kind of like yoga. When performing imaginative therapy, the body should relax and all other thoughts should be abandoned.

Third, comfort therapy.

Family members, friends and doctors help patients to reduce mental burden and eliminate worries.

Fourth, music therapy.

Listen to music, but not for too long, and the volume should be below 70 decibels.

Verb (short for verb) humor therapy

Doctors have found that cancer patients can relieve pain by laughing often.
