What is acupressure?
Shiatsu is a therapeutic method of pressing acupoints along meridians with fingers. Shiatsu is different from massage because it has no soft movements, so it is also different from western massage. At the same time, the technique of pressing or pulling hands, feet and back is also used. Shiatsu practitioners apply pressure to hundreds of acupoints along meridians or energy lines. In order to increase the pressure, we use our palms, thumbs, knuckles, elbows and knees to do shiatsu, and even our feet to do it. Shiatsu technique is expressed in a touching way.
