The purpose of steam curing concrete members is to improve the temperature and humidity of air in curing space and provide conditions for concrete hardening.

Steam curing of concrete members

1, steam heating. When the outside temperature drops to freezing point, the water in concrete will freeze, and the volume of water will expand rapidly in a short time after freezing, destroying the structure of concrete. After concrete hardens, its strength will naturally weaken and cracks will appear, and steam heating just solves this problem.

2. Steam humidification. The rapid loss of water on the surface and inside of concrete will make the hydration difficult to continue, and steam humidification can ensure that there is enough water in the poured concrete for hydration.

Maintenance equipment for concrete members

Steam curing can not only improve the strength of concrete members, but also accelerate the hardening of concrete and advance the construction period. Low temperature construction, limited environmental conditions, is very unfavorable to the normal solidification and hardening of concrete, and many construction accidents occur in the rush.

Therefore, when the construction environment is not conducive to the hardening of concrete members, whether it is precast beams, culvert pipes or telephone poles, steam heating and humidification maintenance are needed.
