It is understood that Nanchong silk was famous all over the country as early as the Tang Dynasty, and became a tribute to the court. It is well-known at home and abroad for its exquisite weaving skills. Nanchong silk has been exported to overseas countries and regions such as Myanmar, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Africa through Chengdu, Leshan, Yibin, Zhaotong, Qujing and Kunming. This ancient commercial road, with high mountains and dangerous waters, passes through most parts of southwest China, leaving many cultural relics and historic sites, and is known as the Southern Silk Road. The South Silk Road, designed in detail by "The First Workshop of Millennium Silk Capital", is not only a water tour route, but also a tourist route and cultural experience of the South Silk Road. Visitors can not only appreciate the humanistic atmosphere of residential buildings, but also experience the vicissitudes and ups and downs of the Southern Silk Road.

The health culture experience area is mainly equipped with sericulture research institute or science and technology activity center, with squares and waterscape, which expands the communication space of public activities and has multiple functions such as leisure and recuperation, sightseeing and reception. The sericulture culture experience area, with Zhang Jiayuan as the main tour route, is designed with silkworm pillars, silkworm altars and sculptures to tell people about the history of the wild silkworm tribe; The Silk Culture Experience Zone includes Tiansi Ancient Museum and Zhouguo Embroidery Workshop, which embodies the culture of silkworm, cocoon and silk, and displays the cultural complexes of silk, silk and silk.
