What is a hyperbaric oxygen chamber?
Hyperbaric oxygen chamber is a kind of health care device which combines modern oxygen therapy technology with high pressure environment. Its principle is based on hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which makes people inhale higher concentration of oxygen by putting them in a pressurized environment. This helps to improve the solubility of oxygen in blood, promote the supply of oxygen in blood, and thus accelerate the process of cell metabolism and repair.

In 2020, scientists from Tel Aviv University conducted a clinical study, and selected 35 health of the elderly over 64 years old to receive hyperbaric oxygen therapy for 60 times for 3 months. According to the report, the telomere length of these elderly people has increased by more than 20%, and the number of aging cells has decreased by 37%. The expression of 1342 genes increased, while the expression of 570 genes decreased. The expression changes of some genes are related to the reduction of cancer risk and the activation of stem cells. Scientists say that this is equivalent to their bodies being at the cellular level 25 years ago.
