Hu Qingyutang, a drug king in the south of the Yangtze River, was founded by Hu Xueyan, a businessman with a red top in the late Qing Dynasty, on 1874 (the 13th year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty). It is located in Qinghefang, a historical and cultural block in Hangzhou. It is the best preserved industrial and commercial ancient building complex in China in the late Qing Dynasty and a model of Huizhou architectural style. The whole building looks like a crane, perching at the foot of Wu Shan, which means "longevity".
