The goal of liberation is clear:

Persistence in emotion and desire makes people fall into the trap of greed, anger, ignorance, slowness and doubt, and is also the root of distracting thoughts, causing illness and prolonging death.

There are countless examples in real life!

Don't you smell:

"The deeper you love, the more you hate!"

Another example is:

"Enemies against each other", "Affectionate Qin Chu", "Love the sky and hate the sea", "Love the tide" and so on! Or the world we live in is a desire full of love and hate. Once you want to achieve peace, it is really not easy.

Therefore, it is necessary to regard precepts as a prerequisite for achieving peace.

In order to keep precepts successfully, we must cultivate three professions.

What is the tertiary industry?

Namely "body, mouth and mind"

First, the net study does not kill, steal or commit adultery, which is a net study.

Second, the network repair industry has no nonsense, slang, two tongues and bad mouths, and it is a smooth network repair industry.

Third, to cultivate one's mind is to cultivate madness in the mind of love, except greed, resentment and evil thoughts.

If "seeing, listening, speaking and doing" can be like Yan Hui's Four Don 'ts (that is, see no evil, don't listen if you are indecent, don't speak if you are indecent, and don't move if you are indecent), it is the ultimate goal of keeping precepts!

Restraining resentment and desire, as Yuan Zhen (Zi Si) did, is the primary realm of abstinence.

Confucius said, "A gentleman has three precepts, namely, abstinence from color, abstinence from fighting and abstinence from morality".

There are three commandments in The Analects of Confucius:

When you are young, your blood gas is uncertain, so quit it;

It is also strong and bloody, and it is fighting;

Even when you are old, your blood is failing and you can quit.

This is an inculcation that a gentleman must always be vigilant and cautious, and strive to be free from temper and personality all his life!

Confucius said again:

"A gentleman should have the advantages of Jiu Si" that is:

Look carefully and think clearly. Just don't be vague, look carefully and see if you can understand everything.

Listen carefully. That is, don't omit ambiguity, listen carefully and reflect on whether the words are clear.

Sexiwen。 That is, don't be cold and harsh, be gentle. Is it pleasant to introspect?

Look respectful. That is to say, you look humble and introspective. Is it polite and polite?

Loyal to your words. Just don't be rash and hypocritical, be honest in your words, and reflect on whether your words are sincere or not.

Sensitive to things. Just don't neglect, be cautious, and reflect on whether what you do is careless.

Ask in doubt. Just don't hide doubts. If you have doubts, you must ask for clarification. Is introspection shameless?

It is hard to imagine. Is to encounter difficulties and misunderstandings, don't be impulsive, but think about whether there are future troubles, whether you can swallow your pride, cherish happiness and get angry again.

As you can see. That is, when you see the benefits, you should think about whether you deserve them. Can self-examination of interests make sense now? Have you forgotten Li and Yi?

Confucius' above teaching, if a gentleman's heart can always stay awake and conscious, it will naturally achieve nothing.

The Shurangama Sutra says:

"Take the heart as a precept, be born of precepts, and be born with wisdom."

That is: people are sincere and not arrogant, always aware and always caring, as the foundation of words and deeds. When there is no delusion in the long journey, the three industries of body, mouth and heart are naturally spotless; If the heart is quiet but not dyed, the situation will follow, the situation will continue, and the wisdom will show.

Self-cultivation and three professions are the precepts of Buddhism and Zen; Four Don't Jiu Si is the example of Confucianism.

Beginners should always follow; Even those who are enlightened and successful should be diligent in cleaning up.
