The professional qualification certification of SOA is divided into the following two categories: quasi-actuary ASA and formal actuary FSA.

☆. Member of Actuaries Association.

SOA quasi-actuaries fully grasp the basic concepts and practical skills of risk formation and management, and apply related concepts and skills to daily problems, especially the financial impact caused by uncertain factors in the future. To qualify for ASA, candidates need to complete the following courses and exam requirements, including ASA requirements:

2. Three VEE certification courses, full name verification of educational experience, are required courses for ASA. 3.FAP online learning course, full name of practical basis, is a compulsory course of accounting institutes in american accounting association and the United States. This course includes eight online learning modules and two online courses with comprehensive written assessment. Candidates are required to complete all the study and examination contents within two years from the date of registration, and those who fail to complete within the time limit may apply for an extension of one year. You can submit an extension application twice at most, each time for one year.

FAP course aims to teach candidates knowledge about business environment, simulate real business scenarios by using control loop, and cultivate candidates' problem-solving ability in different actuarial fields. FAP includes practical situation application, and introduces actuarial principle and practical operation through cases. Candidates will also have the opportunity to apply these principles and techniques to traditional and non-traditional actuarial practices. FAP has two comprehensive online tests, immediate mid-term test and final test. After completing module 1-5, candidates need to complete the mid-term exam; After completing modules 6-8, you need to complete the final test. 4. The full name of 4.APC workshop is the professionalization course of auxiliary ship, which is a necessary condition for obtaining ASA. In the APC seminar, candidates will improve their professional knowledge, professional ethics, legal responsibilities and other aspects by learning a large number of practical cases. Each APC seminar lasts for one and a half days. Its form is to participate in offline seminars in designated cities, which will be held 4-5 times a year in China, and the location will be notified on APC's official homepage 2-3 months before registration.

The formal actuary of FSA is the highest level of SOA members, and has comprehensive professional knowledge, from conceptual planning to practical operation, to fully assist enterprises in formulating financial management policies.

Candidates can flexibly choose the order of completing the requirements, and SOA has also formulated the recommendation order of each major direction according to the degree of knowledge connection between various exams and modules. (3) DMAC (Decision and Communication Module) is a decision and communication module. After obtaining ASA qualification, candidates will receive an invitation email from DAMC, and candidates can sign up for DMAC at any time. Candidates are advised to study FSA series courses in the following order: remaining courses -DMAC module -FAC seminar. After successful registration, candidates need to complete all the contents of DAMC within 12 months. If candidates fail to submit the final project within 12 months, they need to re-register. If the candidate submits the final project in time, but fails to pass, he can submit a six-month extension application; Moreover, no matter when candidates submit an extension application, they are deemed to have accumulated 18 months of study time since the date of initial registration.
