How to maintain the water heating radiator?
1. At present, the most widely used radiator in the market is steel radiator, which needs full water maintenance after anticorrosion treatment. Many people are used to releasing water immediately after heating stops, so as to avoid the radiator from rusting due to long-term storage of water. This is a very common misunderstanding. The water in the system can be well isolated from the corrosion of air to the radiator and pipeline after anti-corrosion treatment, and the service life of the whole system can be prolonged. If you are not satisfied with saving water, the service life of heating will not be as long as that of completely saving water.

2. In the season when heating is not needed, take time to check the exhaust valve, plug and pipe fittings on the pipeline. Due to the influence of thermal expansion and contraction, the screw joint will occasionally loosen after stopping heating. Once found, it should be tightened in time to avoid water leakage after heating. If there is water leakage, please ask the heating maintenance personnel to check and repair in time.

3. If there is a radiator removed temporarily, take good care of it and don't put it in the sun. The surface of radiator is mostly sprayed with plastic and paint. Direct sunlight will greatly accelerate the aging of the surface coating, destroy the appearance of the radiator and reduce the surface life; Some old cast iron radiators are exposed to the sun, which easily causes the interface pad to crack and shrink, and then it is easy to cause the interface to leak when connected to the system. Don't put it in a dark and humid place, it is easy to be oxidized and corroded, which makes the material thin and brittle, which not only shortens the service life, but also causes water leakage. Therefore, it is best to put the radiator temporarily removed in a ventilated and dry place without direct sunlight.

4. When the radiator is not used frequently, there will be dust and other attachments on it occasionally. It is best to wipe with a clean cloth. It is not allowed to use anti-oxidation spray paint with strong corrosive solution to damage the page surface, and it is not allowed to scratch with sharp objects to avoid damaging the surface. Some plate radiators with air vents should not be washed with water, so as to avoid drying easily after entering water and increase the oxidation probability.
