Yuelu Mountain is one of the 72 peaks of Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue. It is located in the west of Changsha, adjacent to Xiangjiang River in the east, with an area of about 8 square kilometers. The ancients praised it as "beautiful, beautiful". There are famous scenic spots such as Yuelu Academy, Love Night Pavilion, Lushan Temple, Yunlu Palace and New Democratic Society in Lushan Scenic Area. Celebrities such as Huang Xing and Cai E are also buried here.

2. Orange Island

3. Yuelu Academy

Yuelu Mountain Academy in Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area is an ancient academy building in Han Dynasty, which belongs to one of the four famous academies in China history. Founded in the ninth year of Beikaibao (976), Zhenzong was named Yuelu Academy. With a history of more than a thousand years, it is a rare "Millennium University".

4. Baisha ancient well

Baisha ancient well, referred to as Baishajing for short, is called "the first spring in Changsha". At the beginning, there was only one outlet. By the end of the Ming Dynasty, the water was divided into two eyes, and after many repairs, it was expanded into four eyes. The wellhead is 0.6 meters square, and spring water gushes from the bottom of the well all the year round. There used to be a Dragon King Temple by the well. A couplet in the temple wrote: "Changde Mountain has virtue, Changsha has sand, water and no sand", which shows that the well water is clear and pure.

5. Love Night Pavilion

Love Night Pavilion is surrounded by mountains and maple trees on three sides. In late autumn, it turns red everywhere, so it is named after Du Mu's poem "Stop and sit on the maple tree late, and the frost leaves are red in February". The pavilion is simple and elegant, with golden pillars and red paint, four high wings and green glazed tiles.
