Commentary on Tian Zhai
Tian Zhai, there is no special explanation in modern Chinese dictionaries, but it can be interpreted as "Tian" and "Zhai" respectively. Field: Land where crops are grown. House: residence, house (mostly a larger house).

"Book of Rites Quli Shang": "Those who give a field house take books as it." Historical Records: "I have been grazing in the mountains for more than ten years, and the sheep went to more than a thousand heads and bought a farmhouse." Song Mei Yao Chen's Yi Yun and Uncle Ji Jian: "When I get married, I want to buy a farm house, and I am willing to get it with a cane." He Jinzhai's "Song of Li Yuan": "Tax to raise money and grain, and urge rent to seize farmland houses."

In physiognomy, Tianzhai refers to Tianzhai Palace, which refers to the part between the eyebrows and eyes, but in a broad sense, Tianzhai Palace also includes two eyes. Field is the foundation of health, and house is the place to live. In modern terms, it is the family palace, which shows how the family environment is.

However, what we used to say now is mostly the abbreviation of "rural hukou".
