College of Education of Chongqing Three Gorges University: There are four full-time undergraduate majors in primary education (general teacher), physics (teacher training), chemistry (teacher training) and biological science (teacher training), and two master majors in primary education and physics.

Primary education (ordinary teachers, free normal students, undergraduates, arts and sciences)

According to the training direction of "undergraduate orientation, general qualification and primary school orientation" and the training requirements of "getting down, staying and doing well", this major aims to cultivate good humanistic quality, solid general knowledge, skilled teacher skills and the ability to engage in primary school education and teaching and related management research.

The main courses are: English, Chinese foundation, Chinese and foreign literature, educational psychology, music foundation, basic art education, elementary mathematics, theory and practice of Chinese teaching in primary schools, theory and practice of mathematics teaching in primary schools, and English teaching in primary schools.

This major is oriented training. After graduation, I worked as a general teacher in elementary schools in relevant districts and counties of Chongqing or engaged in education management in basic education management departments.

Physics (normal, undergraduate, science and engineering)

This major mainly cultivates the basic ability of physics teaching in ordinary middle schools and secondary vocational schools and enterprises to engage in basic research. After graduation, I can engage in physics teaching and related education management research in junior, senior and secondary vocational schools at all levels, and I can also engage in production research and development in related enterprises and institutions.

The main courses are: mathematics, English, mechanics, heat, electromagnetism, optics, atomic physics, theoretical mechanics, electrodynamics, statistical physics, quantum mechanics, electronic circuits, solid physics, physics teaching theory and so on.

Chemistry (normal, undergraduate, science and engineering)

Students in this major mainly study the basic knowledge, theories and skills of chemistry and applied chemistry, cultivate students' teacher quality, and have the basic ability to engage in chemical education and practical application of chemistry.

After graduation, you can engage in chemistry teaching and educational management research in middle schools, and you can also engage in production research and development in the chemical industry.

The main courses are: mathematics, English, college physics, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, environmental chemistry, chemical engineering foundation, pedagogy and psychology foundation, chemical education theory and methods, etc.

Biological sciences (normal, undergraduate and science and engineering)

This major is a normal major, with the goal of cultivating all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and beauty. It has solid knowledge of educational disciplines, basic theories of biology and experimental skills, high comprehensive quality and strong professionalism.

Graduates can engage in biology teaching in middle schools or engage in production research and development in related enterprises and institutions.

Main courses: mathematics, English, college physics, botany, zoology, biochemistry, plant physiology, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, genetics, human anatomy and physiology, etc.
