"Dharma" is the cultivation method of Xiandao, also known as Danfa.
Due to the different cultivation methods, Dan method is generally divided into two aspects: inner Dan and outer Dan. External alchemy is the earliest form of alchemy. Before the Tang Dynasty, most practitioners practiced external alchemy, practicing internal alchemy while practicing external alchemy. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, people were afraid of the difficulty of external alchemy and turned to internal alchemy. External alchemy was gradually ignored by practitioners, and fewer and fewer people engaged in external alchemy. So far, I have heard of the name Waidan, but few people know the purpose of Waidan.
Later generations divided internal and external elixirs into three different categories, namely Tianyuan Dan (later, some people renamed pure elixir Tianyuan Dan because it rarely succeeded), Yuan Di Dan and Renyuandan (Renyuandan is divided into pure and yin and yang, and now refers to yin and yang). The earliest Tianyuan Shen Dan and Yuan Di Lingdan both refer to external alchemy. Tianyuan Shen Dan, which was given by people, stood on Sendai, and even said that "chickens and dogs can stand on it" was rarely heard since Zhang Sanfeng in the Ming Dynasty. Yuan Di elixirs can be divided into two types: Huang Dan and Baidan, and elixirs that can be used to point gold and connect with Tianyuan elixir. Turning the stone into gold, Mr. Chen Yingning did experiments in the twentieth century, which proved that it did happen; The latter may be on the verge of extinction today. Ren Yuan elixir, that is, Inner Elixir, is a practice method followed by practitioners today, and it can be divided into static time and yin-yang time. Quiet time refers to the cultivation method of the northern school; The cultivation method of yin-yang kung fu multi-guidance school. Inner alchemy has derived many schools because of the different regions and methods of practitioners. If people are divided, there are Shaoyang School, Lv Zhong School, Sanfeng School and Yi Xi School. There are also geographical boundaries, such as the North School, the South School of Zhang, the East School of Zhang, and the West School of Li. There are different schools in the genre, such as Li Daochun's book Zhonghe Collection, which advocates the way of "keeping the middle" and is called the middle school by later generations; Min Xiaogen's northern and southern factions have their own paranoia, so they are called "the school of tranquility and yin and yang" (later generations followed Min's practice in Jin Gai Mountain, also known as "Jin Gai Mountain School"). Huang Yuanji, who inherited the teachings of Chen Tuan and Shao Kangjie, advocated a training method different from the two schools of North and South, and was called "non-South African North School". There are so many methods and schools, so there is a saying that "Taoism is 3,600, and each holds a seedling". All of the above refer to the orthodox Dan method. In addition, there are all kinds of tricks and fake methods of heretics, and they also accept apprentices under the brand of "Dan Zhenjiao", so there are also "3,600 kinds of tricks and 72 kinds of heretics".
There is an old saying: "There are no two ways in the world, and saints have no two hearts." The method of the Beggars' Sect is basically the same. Due to the difference of people's physique and endowment, the same method has different effects on different practitioners for thousands of years because of the differences of times, environment, customs, ethics, society, religion, family, beliefs, laws, gender, age, knowledge and interests. Because teachers teach students in accordance with their aptitude, the people they teach will have different teaching methods. The quality, wisdom and ambition of the receiver determine the quality and success of the method. When a method is formed, it will naturally have its followers, and dissidents will follow. There are followers and opponents, and naturally there are conciliators, thus forming different schools. For the original practitioners, there is no difference between Buddhism and Buddhism. For example, Weng Yun said that "learning immortals must be learning immortals, but the most important thing is then". He said that "there are thousands of immortals in Qian Qian whose scriptures are consistent, and then this is just the root Sect, which is planted in the sympathetic palace of doers according to its position". As for heresy, this is not the case.
In short, no matter what method, it is based on seeing the effect. Mr. Chen Yingning's "Distinguishing Ten Immortals (Shurangama Sutra)" said, "The way to become immortal in this life depends on personal efforts. It is useless to hope and not implement it, or to implement it without effort. For example, we have a destination, which is hundreds of miles away and can be reached in one day by walking fast; Walk slowly, and you can get there on the 23rd or 45th. Cultivating immortals is not limited to success in life. I am afraid of the south. " "Reply to Nantong Yang Fengzijun" also said, "For example, there are four ways to get from Shanghai to Nanjing: the first way is to walk on two feet; Second, by boat; Third, take the train; Fourth, fly. Although there are differences in the speed of time, the result can reach the destination. I'm afraid I'm going in the wrong direction. The boat arrived in Ningbo, the train arrived in Hangzhou, and the plane arrived in Beiping. Those who walked on two feet didn't know where to go and could never reach Nanjing. "
What I said above refers to the cultivation of immortality. The extension of the word "Fa" can also be understood as following the immortal way ... >>
Question 2: Where does the wealth of French couples come from? How should I explain it specifically? This is a Taoist term, which talks about the four conditions that a monk must have.
Method: that is, teaching method. No rules, just practice blindly.
Companions: fellow initiates and Taoist friends; The Book of Rites says: Learning alone without friends is ignorance.
Finance: having certain economic conditions; Because in the primary stage of monasticism, we should devote our mind and time to practice to the greatest extent, and correspondingly there is no more time to treat students. Without a certain material foundation, it is difficult to cultivate. Just look at monks and family members. The ancients said: no wealth is not enough to support the Tao.
Dojo: A place of monasticism, a Dojo. Feng shui (now called aura) is different in different environments.
Question 3: What is the peaceful mind of Taoist priests and Taoist couples to make money?
Question 4: What do you mean by land of wealth? Let's talk briefly first. Buddhism is the real dharma. Just like the people who get the true story sigh, only one or two people in the world know the true story. Wealth is money, but you have to collect money from teachers. It also needs a lot of instruments and money to practice, and it also needs peace of mind and the final external alchemy. Couples can also say that they want a Taoist friend. For example, if you die for seven days in the rush, you can't come back without a Taoist friend to wake you up. Another meaning is that if you have a double degree, there are many conditions for choosing 28 women. Land is to choose a land of geomantic omen.
Question 5: What do these four words mean? Money, love, law, land.
Question 6: What does it mean to learn from wealth and land? The ancients tasted the clouds and learned wealth and soil, which are the four elements that Xiandao must have to enter and leave the house formally. If it is missing, it is impossible to start employment. However, these four items have a wide range, which will be briefly described later for your reference.
Dharma practitioners, that is, the practice method of Xiandao, is also called Danfa.
Rich people have two meanings: being rich inside and being rich outside: being rich outside refers to all the expenses needed for cultivating immortals, and being rich inside refers to the capital owned by practitioners themselves.
Companions are like-minded friends that practitioners need when they formally take up their posts. Now when people talk about the word "couple", they all think it refers to the tripod, which is not in line with the original meaning of "couple".
Land refers to the place of practice.
Huang Yuanji divided it into "the land rich in internal law" and "the land rich in external law". Generally speaking, the land of wealth outside the law is considered as the method of farming, all the expenses of maintaining hard work, the way of farming and the place of farming. Therefore, Huang only said that "the land of extra-legal wealth is known to all, so I won't go into details." The so-called "Wealth in Internal Law" says: "A yogi knows life and death, and he knows truth and falsehood. If he wants to be poor, he must first reconcile the fire and water in his body, and the fire and water will be reconciled the day after tomorrow. Then, in the pit, one yang goes from bottom to top, the other yin goes from bottom to top, and the upper and lower intersect at the point of deficiency and danger, from nature to essence. This ridge has a yang and a yin in the middle, which is the internal wealth. The night god warms up and does not leak, that is, the internal wealth is also accumulated; Can find a coup from their own body and mind, that is, internal law; The preface is the original person, that is, the internal partner; A virtual danger point is the mainland. If you want to refine the elixir, how can you not prepare four? " This statement has not been mentioned before, and it is recorded here for reference only.
It is not easy for those who cultivate immortals to ask for something in ancient times, but it is even more difficult today, and the obligation to establish a society is inexhaustible. Therefore, today's immortals should focus on social undertakings and use their spare time, that is, engage in physical training first and then seek a career when conditions are ripe. It should be noted that "the land is like a deep mountain, and the couch is like a Zen bed" (in the words of Mr. Hu Haiya). However, those who cultivate themselves indoors must have simple indoor furnishings, adequate indoor light, good air circulation and closed doors and windows. People who do static work should hang dark curtains on the windows to prevent too bright light from interfering with their work. So practicing while working is not only a positive response to the world, but also healthy. Once the conditions are ripe, legal and financial couples are perfect in four aspects, that is, formal employment gets twice the result with half the effort. You don't have to start from it to fall into the pursuit of wealth and wealth.
Question 7: What do you mean by "wealth"?
Question 8: [Discussion] What should French couples ask first? This is very important, but why put him in the third place?
From the point of view of importance, the couple made a fortune and the land was right. .....
Buddhism comes first. No matter how much money you have, you may not get Buddhism ... Buddhism is in place and you naturally need a partner. How to improve faster, you need money. Of course, you basically have money and land,,, hehe.
What is the purpose of seeking money first? Purpose and significance are very important. Seeking wealth after obtaining the law and seeking wealth simply for money are two concepts. ...
Small hidden in the wild, big hidden in the world ... there is no conflict between joining the WTO and obtaining the law.
Question 9: What's the difference between the "Dharma" of Tantric Buddhism and the "Skill" of Taoism? What's the difference between Taoism, Buddhism and skills?
In this article, I briefly introduced the differences and connections among Taoism, Dharma and Buddhism, that is, I hope that friends who are interested in seeking Taoism will not regard Buddhism as Taoism, let alone be obsessed with it. I hope everyone will take fewer detours and really find a master to ask for Buddhist practice. If there is, I hope that's enough!
Since Master was merciful and determined to carry forward this Taoism, people have often come to me and said that they want to learn Taoism, hoping that I can take them to practice. I always ask the same question: "Why do you practice?" The answers can be described as varied, roughly summarized, and there are probably the following categories:
Answer 1: I want to learn some methods to treat diseases. I am in poor health and sick at home, so I want to learn Taoism to keep fit, and I can use the methods I have learned to treat diseases and save lives in the future.
Answer 2: I am not calm. I want to cultivate my self-cultivation and calm my heart. Find your own heart, hoping to get rid of your troubles and feel at ease.
Answer 3: Living in the world is too tiring, too much trouble, emotional entanglements, unsatisfactory career, family conflicts and so on. And I want to be born to learn Tao.
Answer 4: Seek and verify the truth.
Answer 5: I am very interested in the traditional culture of China, especially the mysterious culture.
Answer 6: I hope to learn a regimen or master some other abilities, which will help my body, family and work. I hope I can improve my luck and increase my fortune, such as my fortune and career.
Answer 7: I want to know about another hidden world-the spiritual world.
Answer 8: I hope that by studying Taoism, I can help the world and save people, and at the same time increase the blessings and eliminate karma.
Answer 9: Someone in my family is possessed. I want to ward off evil spirits and defend Taoism. ...
There are many such answers, so I won't list them one by one. In addition to being funny, I feel deeply helpless. Sometimes I really want to ask them: Do you want to learn Taoism or Taoism?
In fact, if you think about it carefully, I'm afraid that most people today don't even know what art is, what dharma is and what Tao is, and confuse them. For the true sense of monasticism, what is the ultimate goal of monasticism is even more completely unknown so. Taoism pays attention to "my fate is not determined by heaven", while Taoism emphasizes the present rather than the afterlife, and pursues the achievements in this life, which is very practical. Therefore, true monks from ancient times to the present are all practicing the true scriptures for the sake of the true Tao. Those who have no great courage and great will can never cross this threshold.
Modern people regard monasticism as too simple and easy. What they answered above has nothing to do with monasticism. For example, if you want to keep fit, you can do some physical exercises or learn some boxing techniques with internal or external skills. If you want to save lives, you can learn some medical skills. If you think it is too much trouble to study medicine professionally, many simple and practical Chinese medicine techniques that are popular now can cure diseases, such as scraping, massage, moxibustion and so on. If you like traditional culture, you don't need to practice. Why don't you go to the ivory tower, religious institute or Buddhist college? As for self-cultivation, there are many ways. When you are free, you can play Tai Ji Chuan, or write calligraphy at home, or read a book quietly. If I feel that I am too tired to live, that I am boring to be a man, and that I want to learn Taoism and become quiet and comfortable, then I have to say that learning Taoism is more bitter and tiring. Monasticism is something men do, and it is absolutely not feasible for ordinary people. I can't stand the suffering of this world, let alone the suffering of practice. I really think learning Tao is a fun and enjoyable thing!
Nowadays, on lucky days, many people are interested in monasticism, especially some young people, who read some fantasy novel on the Internet and are determined to become "practitioners of truth" and travel between heaven and earth, but few people know how much suffering monasticism has to endure and how many trials and tribulations it has gone through. Make a few cups of tea, make an appointment with three or five friends, and sit in the mountains or temples and have a chat. It's not practice, it's rest, it's still a very petty thing. Real practice requires great pain and suffering, which ordinary people can't bear. Therefore, if you just want to solve some practical problems in your life, or are just interested in it in general, or just want to escape from this world, then I advise you not to say the words "I want to practice Buddhism" to me easily.
For one thing, you can't go this way if you want to, and for another, do you know what real monasticism is like? Someone asked me, "What about the Tao that Master taught?" I smiled and said, "So, can it be considered Taoism?" The other party was puzzled and said, "I have practiced and it is effective. When I treat people, I draw some symbols in the water, and then they drink these symbols ... >>
Question 10: Is herb picking the only way to cultivate immortality in Yang Sheng? At present, almost all the Dan methods circulating in the world are about Yang Sheng collecting herbs. It seems that all the efforts except Yi Yang's herb collecting and alchemy are devious, while Yang Sheng's herb collecting seems to have developed after the Tang and Song Dynasties. Look at Zhong You's Lingbao Bifa, Qiu Chuji's Acupoint Dadan, Chen Pu's Jiuzhuan elixir formula, etc., which have not yet developed to this stage. As for the immortals before the Tang and Song Dynasties, before the inner alchemy was mature, the ancient real people practiced Buddhism from Vipassana, eating, breathing and thinking, and their realms were all good, such as Guangchengzi, Akamatsu, Monk Gong, An Qisheng and Yin Changsheng. Some of them can ride clouds over fog, and some have lived for hundreds or thousands of years, riding clouds to heaven, not to mention the sun collecting medicine, not to mention the weather on Sunday. For example, many people avoid the idea of abstinence. If they really go to Yang Sheng to collect herbs, can they understand it naively? Then there will be a warm weather on Sunday, giving birth in October, breastfeeding for three years and facing the wall for nine years. These things are out of reach for an ordinary practitioner. For a professional monk, his hope of success is slim. I really don't know who created this stupid method. There are not a few people who practice Taoism in this stupid way. I don't see anything in these self-proclaimed practitioners. What should I do? I haven't seen anything special. I hope self-deception is not a good thing. Otherwise, it is better to learn from Wang Xuanpu, the founder of Shaoyang School. He meditated in the smoke cave of Kunlun Mountain for forty years, saw his internal organs, read gobbledygook at night, and lived on earth for hundreds of years. Later, he ascended to heaven in the daytime, and his disciples, Zhong Liquan and Lv Dongbin, soared in the daytime, and people didn't refine the Dan method of collecting medicine by the sun. There is more than one way to cultivate immortality, all of which are authentic. Everything else is a side door, and there are many good ways. At least they can live a long and healthy life. I remember that the author of "A Brief Introduction to Great Cheng" actually got a supreme secret, and he didn't have a chance to practice it until his death. Because of the law, there is no place for wealth partners. If you want to practice dharma and become a wealth partner, it is only a matter of time before Dan Dao becomes extinct. Even if you learn to hold your breath and think, you can live for a long time. You can become immortal only if you live. Don't say it is authentic. Is there still less authentic Dan Jing? Master Chen Yingning, the president of the older generation of Taoism, read all the Taoist classics in the world, but he never became an immortal in his life. Is cultivation really complicated? It's not complicated Even if you practice simple introspection, you will achieve something. Of course, with the guidance of teachers, there will be a lot of detours. Master is like an old horse that knows the way. The difference between learning from teachers and self-study is that a practitioner leads the way and a person slowly explores the road. Instead of waiting for the rich and the poor to collect herbs, it is better to find a better way to practice step by step. It's really not a good idea to practice Yang Sheng herbal medicine collection line on Sunday. No matter what master created it, it's only suitable for yourself and individuals. Young people's psychological knowledge is not enough to practice this method. Young and middle-aged married people have to divorce in this way, because it is hard for the elderly to wait for Yang Sheng to fail. Therefore, the study of cultivating immortals now should refer to the classics before the Song and Yuan Dynasties. You can't wait to hang yourself in a tree. As long as you find a starting skill and learn while groping, there will always be a breakthrough one day. Our seven-star point is another way of practicing. Of course, there are many other skills, as long as you practice and explore, it will become a shortcut to fix the truth, such as Lingbao Bifa, Jiuzhuan and so on.
