Its major in traditional Chinese medicine has a long history of nearly 47 years (formerly Wuhan Second Medical College), and it is one of the longest majors in Jianghan University. After the establishment of New Jianghan University, the college has developed rapidly in specialty construction, discipline construction, laboratory construction, teaching staff construction, scientific research and personnel training.
