Luting Township is located in the south of Yuyao City, at the foot of Siming Mountain, adjacent to Zhangshui Town of Yinzhou in the east, Dalan Town in the south, Liangnong Town in the west, Lubu Town and Lizhou Street in Yuyao City in the north. It is a mountain city with rich resources, beautiful scenery and broad development prospects. The township has a total population of nearly 20,000 people and governs 12 administrative villages with an administrative area of 70.45 square kilometers, including 7 129 mu of cultivated land, 78,800 mu of forests, 7,248 mu of tea gardens and 37,478 mu of bamboo forests, with a forest coverage rate of 85%.

Until the early 1990s, Green Pavilion was one of the most developed towns in Yuyao. At that time, the annual output value of Luting Industry was 23 billion yuan, and there were 10 enterprises, including Zhejiang TV Factory, the largest enterprise in Yuyao at that time. At that time, Yuyao Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government made a decision to relocate industrial enterprises to Yuyao City. With the relocation of all industrial enterprises in the early 1990s, villagers "entered the city" one after another, and the development of Luting entered a stagnant stage. By the end of the 20th century, during the period of 10, the population was decreasing day by day, and the infrastructure was rudimentary, which was the current situation of Luting at that time.

Not developing is the best protection for the ecology. The forest coverage rate here is as high as 85%, with the only remaining original secondary forest in Ningbo, and the landscape resources retain the appearance of the last century. Located on the 30-degree north latitude line, with an altitude of 300 to 400 meters, the ecological environment is unique.

Since 2000, relying on beautiful scenery and rich resources, Luting has started a new step in the development of eco-tourism. Especially after 2008, the development of Green Court entered an accelerated stage. At present, the Deer Pavilion has initially built an alpine fruit and vegetable base, a sports and leisure base and a painting and calligraphy base. Leisure health base and deer culture development base are also being invested and constructed. A "pure" deer pavilion is slowly unveiling its mystery.
