Famous Chinese Medicine Hall founded by businessman Hu Xueyan in the late Qing Dynasty?
Huqingyutang

Hu Qingyutang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located at the foot of Wu Shan in Dajing Lane, Hangzhou District. It is the only national museum of traditional Chinese medicine in China. It was established on the basis of the ancient buildings of Huqingyutang, a century-old shop.

Hu Qingyutang was founded by Hu Xueyan in the 13th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1874). Its architecture absorbs the advantages of Jiangnan residential gardens, with reasonable layout, exquisite materials, meticulous carving and gorgeous decoration. It is a rare commercial building in China that combines the advantages of Jiangnan architecture in Qing Dynasty. Huqingyutang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine has a building area of more than 4,000 square meters, which consists of five parts: exhibition hall, manual workshop of traditional Chinese medicine, health clinic, business hall and medicated restaurant. Visitors can not only watch the tour, but also try the operation of traditional medicines in the "interest room" in person. You can also invite famous doctors to visit museums, buy high-quality Chinese patent medicine products, and taste the flavor of medicated diet that can prevent diseases, strengthen the body and prolong life.
