China is the first country in the world to invent and use toothbrushes. According to research, there was a toothbrush with hair transplant in the ninth year of Liao Dynasty (959). After the establishment of the Song Dynasty in Zhao Kuangyin (960), there were many records about toothbrushes in history books. Zhou Shouzhong's "Health Care Compilation" contains: "I don't brush my teeth (that is, toothbrush) when I get up early, for fear that my roots will float off, my teeth will loosen, and I will have a toothache for a long time. Brushing your teeth is a ponytail, which is extremely lethal. It can be seen that it has developed from plant brush to ponytail brush at that time. Because the toothbrush is badly made, people don't know enough about its function. It was not until the Yuan Dynasty that people gradually paid attention to it. A poet named Guo Yu wrote a poem praising: "Zhou Nan toothbrush will be sent to Japan, and it will be worth a gold to remove dirt and troubles! "
In Europe, the earliest toothbrush appeared in 1780, and the raw material used was bone handle bristles. After 1840, toothbrushes were mass-produced in Europe and later spread to the American continent. Europeans use toothbrushes at least 700 years later than our country.
