The development of history
Yuzhong, about 1.5 million years ago, was inhabited by ancestors in the Paleolithic Age. It was the residence of Qiang people in ancient times and was later occupied by Xiongnu.
In the thirty-third year of Qin Shihuang (2 14 BC), Meng Tian "chased the Huns in the northwest, and since Yuzhong merged with the east of the river, it belonged to Yinshan Mountain, thinking that there were thirty-four counties (one was forty-four counties), and the city and the river were impassable". Governance is located in donggang town, Chengguan District, Lanzhou City, which belongs to Longxi County. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, it was captured by Xiongnu.
In the second year of Yuan Shuo (127), Yuzhong County was restored, belonging to Longxi County. In the second year of Yuan Niu (formerly 12 1), Yongshi County was established, which governs the northeast area of Yuanchuan River in Yuzhong, and is now in Dingxi County. After Yuzhong, Yongshi County was changed to Tianshui County. In the 11th year of Jin Yonghe (355), Yuzhong County was occupied by former Liang Liyan. In the first year of Taiyuan (376), the former Qin dynasty destroyed the former cool, and Yuzhong belonged to the former Qin dynasty. In the tenth year of Taiyuan (385), the Qi people of Xianbei nationality built a samurai city in Yuanchuan, with Xiqin County and Yuanchuan County as 12 counties, and Yuzhong County was subordinate to Yuanchuan County.
In 439, the Northern Wei Emperor Wu Tai abandoned the county seat and established Yuzhong Town. In the fifth year of Xiaoming Zheng Guang (524), Yuzhong Town was abandoned and Yuzhong County was restored, belonging to Jincheng County. Yuzhong County was abandoned in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, and its land was merged into Zicheng County, which still belongs to Jincheng County.
In the first year of Emperor Wendi (58 1), Lanzhou was newly established, leading Jincheng County, and the leading city of Jincheng County was 1 county. In the third year of Emperor Wendi (583), a two-level administrative system was established, that is, four counties, including Lanzhou Lingcheng, ruled Zicheng County. In 607, Yang Di changed Lanzhou to Jincheng County and Zicheng County to Jincheng County.
In the first year of Wude in Tang Gaozu (6 18), Jincheng County was changed to Lanzhou, and the land was merged into Wuquan County, which belonged to Lanzhou. In the second year of Emperor Gaozong Xianheng (67 1), Wuquan County was changed to Jincheng County. Tianbao Wu Yuan (742) of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was changed to Wuquan County. In the first year of Baoying (762), the whole territory of Yuzhong fell into Tubo.

In the second year of Hongwu, Ming Taizu (1369), Jinzhou was reduced to a sage, and the place of governance was moved to Chengguan Town, which belonged to Lintao Prefecture. Xianzong Chenghua four years (1468), changed to Lanzhou. In the early Qing Dynasty, Jinxian County was changed to Lintao Prefecture. After three years of Qianlong (1738), it belonged to Lanzhou prefecture.
