Wangtan Town is located in the south of Keqiao District, in the source protection area of Xiaoshunjiang River, and flows into two streams in the south and north of Xiaoshunjiang River around the market town, so it is called "cradle of clear water, healthy and blessed land". The town covers an area of 1.37 square kilometers, governs 24 villages, 1 neighborhood committee, and has a total population of 33,000. Wangtan, with a history of thousands of years, was called Dongtu Township in ancient times.
