Therefore, Hua Tuo asked Cao Cao for leave to go back to his hometown on the grounds of "seeking to return the party". During this period, Cao Cao repeatedly urged Hua Tuo to return to his side for treatment alone, but Hua Tuo just didn't want to go back and refused Cao Cao's request on the grounds that his wife was ill.
Hua tuo's action made Cao Cao feel very angry, and someone dared to disobey his orders so blatantly. So, in 208 AD, Cao Cao sent people to Hua Tuo's hometown to investigate. In a rage, Cao Cao arrested Hua Tuo and then ordered Hua Tuo to die.
Probably because of the causal cycle, not long after Hua Tuo's death, Cao Cao's favorite son became seriously ill. But because I couldn't find a doctor as skilled as Hua Tuo, I missed the opportunity of treatment and died. Later, Cao Cao recalled this incident and sighed, saying that he regretted killing Hua Tuo, which led to the death of his son.
