2. Will the headlights fog after modification?

In addition, all headlights have air holes behind them. When the air is humid, a small amount of water vapor will enter the headlights through the air holes. This is a normal phenomenon, and it will dissipate naturally after turning on the light for a few minutes. Therefore, cars mainly treat this phenomenon rationally. If there is a large area of water droplets, it is a sealing problem.

So why upgrade the headlights?

My headlight is already very good, so it doesn't need to be modified (this is a common misunderstanding).

Usually, the headlights are standard when the car leaves the factory, and different cars are different. Because of the limitation of production conditions and cost, it may only meet the standard, and the brightness of car headlights will decrease after high temperature oxidation during use. Just like our bodies, we were born a healthy life and are healthy now, but that doesn't mean we will be healthy in the future. Therefore, we need to improve our mechanism through exercise, fitness and health preservation, so how to strengthen and improve the performance of headlights reasonably and make them play the most efficient role in driving is the real purpose of upgrading and modifying headlights!

Second, what is the main purpose and function of refitting headlights? There are several ways. What is the difference?

Now people are familiar with the modification, that is, the modification of lens angel eye and devil eye. Due to the lack of in-depth understanding, some riders mistakenly think that changing lights is to install angel eyes and devil eyes, but for beauty. So they focus on choosing their favorite colors, blindly choose, and don't know the real purpose of the modification. At present, there are three ways to modify headlights:

3. It is equipped with a double lens, which is slightly more expensive than a xenon lamp. There are mainly domestic parts and imported parts, and there is a big gap. If you really know it, you will find it very expensive and worthwhile. First, it solves the problems of low beam glare, insufficient illumination width and insufficient brightness. 2. Why do you need to install lenses when modifying headlights?

The European Union stipulates that xenon lamps must be equipped with lenses before leaving the factory. The function of the lens is to make the emitted light more concentrated and concentrate the limited brightness on the road surface. At the same time, the light will not spread and hurt oncoming cars and pedestrians, so driving is safer. In recent years, the headlights of high-end cars and most mid-range cars are also equipped with lenses, but they are only 55W halogen lenses for low-beam single lights, and the high-beam lights are in the form of independent 60W halogen reflective bowls. Nowadays, high-end cars are equipped with a dual-lens xenon lamp system, which uses a 35W xenon lamp and dual lenses to provide both low beam and high beam sources at the same time, achieving the perfect effect of brighter, better light type and more energy saving!

Nowadays, many irresponsible businesses directly replace xenon lamps without installing lenses. This practice is wrong and strictly prohibited abroad. First of all, the reflective bowl of the original car is designed according to the focal length of the halogen bulb of the original car. If the xenon lamp is directly replaced, it will cause the phenomenon that the focal length is not allowed to diverge, which will lead to the glare of the first car. In particular, it is not recommended to install xenon lamp in the high beam of the original car, because the start of xenon lamp is delayed, and the delay in lighting will cause danger at high speed. Therefore, it is suggested that the lens must be installed at the same time when the xenon lamp is modified.

3。 Types and functions of lenses

A: According to the structure, the lens can be divided into single lens and double lens. Generally speaking, high-end cars are equipped with xenon dual-lens lenses. Generally, a lens consists of a lens, a reflective bowl and a shading sheet, and the effects of different lenses are very different. The lens is a precise optical instrument, so the precision and workmanship of the lens and the optical data during design determine the type and quality of light emitted by the lens. The light emitted by inferior lenses on some domestic cars is not even as good as that reflected by reflective bowls.

4。 What is a dual lens?

A: A dual lens is a lens with the function of switching between far and near light, while a single lens is the opposite. The double lens controls the switching of far and near light through the shading sheet and motor inside the lens. This dimming method has many advantages.

First, unlike the H4 telescopic tube, the focal length between the luminous point and the reflective bowl will not change, so there will be no astigmatism after dimming.

Secondly, there is no darkening delay when the shading sheet darkens. Thirdly, the shading sheet only blocks the high beam in the low beam and releases the high beam in the high beam, so there is no problem that the nearby sheet is blackened after the H4 lamp is dimmed.

Fourth, if the original car has an independent high beam, it can have two groups of high beams after modifying the dual lens, and the strength of the high beam is self-evident.

5. About color temperature and penetration

A: Many people mistake the color temperature K value for the brightness of light, thinking that the higher the color temperature, the higher the brightness. In fact, this understanding is completely wrong. Conversely, the higher the color temperature, the lower the brightness. The color temperature of normal light should be 4300-6000 K. If it is too high, it will lead to the decrease of brightness, penetration and low color temperature. Yellow light easily causes visual fatigue. The higher the color temperature, the lower the penetration of rain and fog. 400 K is a dividing line, which is the k value that spectrum can produce the maximum brightness. The lower it is, the yellower the light is. When it reaches 3000K, as we all know, the higher the golden eyes, the bluer the color of light, even purple. Make the last "colored light bulb". Insufficient brightness. This is the law of physical spectrum: the color temperature is inversely proportional to the brightness, and the higher the color temperature, the lower the brightness.

Many people think that xenon lamp has poor penetration, which is not as good as halogen lamp. Penetration has nothing to do with xenon lamps or halogen lamps. Xenon lamp or halogen lamp are just two kinds of bulbs with different lighting principles. Penetration is only related to the color temperature (K value) of light. Xenon lamp can realize various color temperature values by adjusting xenon pills. The color temperature of tungsten filament of halogen lamp is generally around 3500K K K. Many halogen lamps improve the color temperature by coating a blue film on the bulb wall, which is achieved at the expense of brightness. This is an undesirable practice. Generally recommended bulb color temperature is between 4000-5000K, which is the most suitable color temperature value for automobile lamps with both brightness and penetration. Many people think that xenon lamps have poor penetration because many irresponsible merchants outside have installed some xenon lamps with high color temperature for many car owners. The light color is blue or even purple, with poor penetration and low brightness. So please don't mistake the difference in penetration for xenon lamp. Finally, let me explain what infiltration is. The ability of any light to illuminate the road in rainy and foggy days is greatly reduced. This is because the water on the road surface makes the light reflect twice, which leads to the divergence of the light, that is, the water on the road surface absorbs the light in rainy days. No matter what kind of light and color temperature, the lighting ability will be reduced in rainy and foggy days. The penetration of yellow light is better than that of white light, which means that yellow light can easily penetrate the fog, so that the car behind can see your light, but can't see what is behind. The fog lamp is just a warning light, not for lighting, so please ask those drivers who turn on the fog lamp in the city on sunny days to turn off your fog lamp, which is as dazzling as the high beam.

At present, many car owners have the following doubts and concerns about changing lights. The following are some explanations and answers to these questions:

1。 Do you choose to change the lamp manually or choose some auxiliary factories to modify the headlight assembly?

A: Many car owners have some concerns about the modification of manual lights (these concerns will be answered one by one below). We have modified the lens inside the headlight for our customers, but we found that before the lampshade was closed, the brightness of the original excellent light decreased by at least 50% after the lampshade was closed (no exaggeration), and the original straight and clear cutting line became blurred, even three or four tangents appeared. We have compared the lampshade of this factory with the original lampshade. When you look through the original lampshade, you will find things very clear and transparent. However, when you look through these inferior lampshades, you will find that many things are out of shape, just like looking through a haha mirror. So, at first glance, lampshades all feel the same, but when you compare them, you will find that there is a big difference.

In addition, the supporting lenses in these inferior headlight assemblies cannot pass optometry detection at all. These small factories have no optical data for manufacturing lenses, but only imitate some imported lenses by appearance. Of course, the light from such a lens is not flattering.

3。 The original car had a lens, but it was a halogen lamp. Can I install xenon lamp directly?

Answer: Halogen lamps and xenon lamps have different lighting principles and different emphases, so directly replacing halogen lamps with xenon lamps often fails to achieve ideal results. It is suggested that the special xenon lens be replaced by a special xenon lamp, so that the effect can be more perfect.

4。 Does xenon lamp dazzle after changing lens?

A: Lens is the development trend of car headlights. The role of the lens is to standardize the light pattern and concentrate the limited brightness on the road surface, instead of shining everywhere like a reflective bowl. Therefore, lens headlights are not dazzling when they meet cars. They are bright when they look at themselves, but not dazzling when others look at them.

5。 Will xenon lamp with lens change be worse than halogen lamp in rainy and foggy days?

A: Many posts have described this issue before. Penetration has nothing to do with xenon lamp. Xenon lamps also have a low color temperature, and the penetration is only related to the color temperature. The lower the color temperature, the better the penetration, and vice versa. Therefore, customers are advised to choose a xenon lamp with a color temperature of about 4000K K. Both brightness and penetration are the best color temperature values.

6。 Will changing the lights change the route of the original car?

A: Our modified headlights are plug-and-play and will not damage a wire of the original car. Most of the models are modified original factories. No wires are exposed, no holes are punched, and the valium will not be fixed on the car body. So there is no need to change the circuit of the original car, let alone worry about the danger of spontaneous combustion.

7。 Nowadays, many new models will have computer alarms after refitting xenon lamps, such as: Gao6, Sagitar, Ming Rui, Tiguan, Scirocco, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Touareg, New Regal, LaCrosse, Yinglang, Guide, Kubo, Coolway, Platinum Core, IX35 and so on. If it is not handled properly, the light will flash, the warning light will stay on and the headlamp control module will burn out. A: The lens is a kind of lighting equipment with very precise optical requirements. A good lens can make the limited light source brightness play a better lighting effect.
