Cicada is a wonderful creature with the morphological characteristics of "animal" and "plant". Roots are cicada larvae. Flowers grow from the head of a single or 2-3 cicada larvae, about an inch long and branch from the top. The milky yellow pollen is called "cicada spore powder", which is simply "seed" and has the function of reproduction.
Its formation process is that cicada larvae are infected and parasitized by cordyceps sinensis before emergence. When the climate and environment are suitable, the nutrients absorbed by insects are transformed into mycelium, and finally the insects are completely occupied by mycelium, leaving only one body. When everything recovers, the mycelium gradually transforms from vegetative stage to "cicada slough spore powder" with reproductive function in sexual stage, gradually branches from the top and "germinates" like a flower, so it is called cicada flower.
