The sincerity of a great doctor comes from the first volume of Sun Simiao's book "Preparedness" in the Tang Dynasty. This is an extremely important medical ethics document, which is widely circulated and has far-reaching influence.
"Great Doctor Sincerity" discusses two issues about medical ethics: the first is diligence, that is, doctors are required to have superb medical skills, medical ethics is considered as "a matter of diligence", and practitioners must be "knowledgeable and diligent".
The second is honesty, that is, doctors are required to have noble moral cultivation, empathize with the sufferings of others, inspire "great compassion", and then make a vow to "save the suffering of the spirit", instead of "relying on their own strengths and managing property"
