Chanba National Wetland Park is located at the intersection of Chanba and Weihe River, adjacent to Jingwei Wetland Provincial Nature Reserve. The whole area is distributed on the east and west banks of Chanba River, with typical characteristics of estuarine wetland. It is an important part of the wetland system in Chanba Ecological Zone, with a planned total area of about 798 square kilometers and a planned investment of 500 million yuan. River wetland is the main part of the planning area, including flood plains, ditches, islands, seasonal flood plains of estuaries, dam water and fish ponds. There are 48 families 180 species of plants in the area, including 2 species of ferns and 48 families 178 species of angiosperms. There are about 150 species of wetland animals, belonging to 27 orders and 50 families, among which 13 species are national first-class and second-class protected animals, which have high biodiversity conservation value.

Park planning: Chanba National Wetland Park has made a comprehensive plan for the construction of wetland park according to the nature protection policy of "overall planning, active protection, scientific management and sustainable utilization" and according to the distribution of wetland park resources, protected objects and surrounding economic development.

2. Park licence

Chanba National Wetland Park has the theme of "Understanding Life and Taste Life-Xi 'an Chanba National Wetland", which is divided into three sections: wild interest, exquisiteness and fashion:

(1) Wild areas of interest:

Display wetland plants, wetland animals and wetland water system, and restore and enrich the original topography of wetlands.

(2) Exquisite area:

Show the community, layout and structure of wetland plants under artificial intervention, and restore the natural landscape of wetland with science and technology.

(3) Fashion District:

Pay attention to all kinds of experience activities and advocate the positive interaction between fashion experience and ecological nature.

Around the three exhibition sections, the overall exhibition content of the park is divided into four series, namely: natural science popularization series, children's interesting experience series, fitness and health series, fashion and love series:

3. Classification by function

According to the layout principle of "three plates", combined with the landscape and resource characteristics of each region, and on the premise of fully considering ecological protection and scientific management, Chanba National Wetland Park is divided into four functional areas: ecological protection and restoration area, wetland exhibition and sightseeing area, ecological agriculture and fishery experience area and management service area:

(1) Ecological Conservation Restoration Area:

Ecological conservation and restoration area is the most important protected area in the whole wetland park, which is used to carry out various scientific research, protection and observation of wetlands. All artificial facilities are built on the basis of ensuring the integrity of the original ecosystem and minimum interference. No-go areas should be set up in the origin and breeding places of rare species, temporary no-go areas should be set up in the migratory birds and bird activity areas during the breeding period, and appropriate non-human interference circles should be delineated around the ecological protection and restoration areas to ensure the living space and activity areas of organisms.

(2) Wetland Exhibition and Tourist Area

The wetland exhibition area has the most advantageous wetland landscape resources in the whole wetland park. All kinds of ponds are distributed in series along the west side of Ba River embankment, and Ba River and Weihe River embankment form a large area of water. The area has a sudden vision, vast waters and beautiful scenery, which fully demonstrates the unique charm of wetlands. The wetland exhibition and tour area integrates the wetland characteristic ecological landscape resources with the historical and cultural connotation of Bahe River Basin, and pays attention to ecological experience, humanistic inheritance and popular science education while fully displaying the natural landscape, fully deducing the eternal proposition that man and nature live in harmony.

(3) Eco-agriculture and Fishery Experience Zone

Farmland, villages, paths, canals and orchards are the main landscapes in this area. Farmland and orchards are planted in a large area in the region, with ecological agriculture and fishing experience as the main projects. Comprehensive consideration of the existing landscape elements and future development direction, make full use of farmland, ponds and other resource bases, set up agricultural and fishery projects such as planting and breeding, and provide tourists with integrated ecological agricultural and fishery experiences such as sightseeing, leisure, picking and fishing.

(4) Manage the service area

The management service area has the most basic management and service functions, and its main function is to provide related services such as tourist reception.
