Constitution
Presumably, everyone may have had such an experience. When I went to a Chinese medicine hospital, I was told by the doctor that it was yin deficiency, so I couldn't help but look at a question mark. What? Virtual? Obviously, I have been very active recently. Totally worth it. Not only is he not empty, but he is full of energy, and he is very angry and his anger is getting bigger and bigger. Where is it empty?

The reason for this suspicion is mainly because people don't understand yin deficiency and yang deficiency, and always think that "deficiency" means physical weakness, but it is not. Although both yang deficiency and yin deficiency are "virtual", they are completely different.

First, in principle.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the human body is composed of yin and yang. Yang corresponds to fire. When people eat and inhale oxygen, they will produce energy through the biotransformation of viscera. This kind of energy is the fire of human body, the fire of life. Yin Qi corresponds to water, which is the blood, body fluids and other body fluids of our body.

The balance of yin and yang maintains the normal operation of our body. Yang deficiency leads to yin excess, weak viscera function and insufficient energy supply, leading to physical weakness and fear of cold; Yin deficiency leads to yang excess, insufficient body fluid and water, which leads to excessive internal heat, which leads to internal heat and irritability.

Second, from the perspective of life performance.

Yang deficiency: Yang deficiency constitution is characterized by weak yang and heavy yin, so it is always afraid of cold, cold hands and feet, and pale face. Usually the diet is warm and spicy, the stool is thin and the urine is long; Cover a lot of quilts when sleeping, and the body likes to curl up together; For the external environment, it is also resistant to summer but not winter, and it is more susceptible to diseases such as wind, cold and humidity. At the same time, because of the lack of yang, the spirit will also appear sluggish, lazy and inactive, sleepy, quiet and introverted, and will also be quiet and depressed at ordinary times.

Yin deficiency: people with yin deficiency have strong yang, easy to get angry, dry mouth and throat and dry skin. Usually, the diet likes cold drinks, dry stool and dark urine; When sleeping at night, it is easy to feel uneasy, difficult to sleep, and often night sweats; For the external environment, it is resistant to winter and summer and susceptible to diseases such as summer dryness. At the same time, due to excessive yang and lively personality, although he looks energetic, he is actually grumpy and easily angry.

Third, from the tongue pulse.

Yang deficiency: pale white tongue, fat tongue with teeth marks, thick white or watery tongue coating; The pulse is heavy and thin. Due to the lack of yang, the blood vessels are not encouraged, so the pulse condition is weak.

Yin deficiency: the tongue color is reddish, slightly thin and narrow, and the tongue coating is yellowish and dry, few and thin, with cracks on the tongue surface and no tongue coating in the cracks. The pulse is thin and numerous, and the frequency is fast, reaching more than 90 times per minute.

Fourth, from the perspective of conditioning.

Yang deficiency: When you have symptoms of yang deficiency, you should eat more food with warming effect, such as pepper, mutton, ginger, leek, longan, etc., and drink less green tea and cold drinks. At the same time, Morinda officinalis, Cistanche deserticola, Cornus officinalis and other Chinese herbal medicines can be used to make soup or soak in water.

In daily life, insist on a 20-minute lunch break; Get more sunshine 15 ~ 20 minutes each time, preferably in the back, or take a sauna and soak in a hot spring. And keep the head, back, abdomen and joints warm.

Chat with friends when you are in a bad mood. You can also listen to some exciting music or go sightseeing to relieve your depressed mood.
