The glands of the third round stamens are halberd-shaped, with stalks and hairs at the base of staminodes. Ovary oval, slender style, all glabrous, stigma slightly enlarged. The fruit is oblate, black and about 7-8 mm in diameter. The flowering period is from April to June, and the fruiting period is from July to August.
