Excuse me, religious people, are all seasonings such as leeks and garlic raw? Want to eat vegetarian dishes, even chopped green onion can't be put in the oil pan?
Master Kong Jing initiated vegetarian health.

When I first studied Buddhism, I became a vegetarian after half a year. I don't eat vegetarian food because others advised me to go around, but I understand this truth. I think the diet taught by Buddhists is the most perfect, and vegetarianism is of great help to cultivate a pure heart and an equal heart. The most important way to keep healthy is psychology. Modern medicine also knows that mental health is more important than physical health, and the mind should be sound so that the body will not be bad. We see in the scriptures that people in the western paradise are invincible, "pure and empty, infinite", and the Buddha said in the scriptures that life is infinite. Where did they come from? From a pure heart. Therefore, if you are pure inside, you will not get sick; Have mercy, any poison has been dissolved. Compassion is the best antidote, and there is no need to detoxify with drugs. Compassion dissolves any great poison. As long as you are pure and merciful, your body will naturally live a long and healthy life. We live a long and healthy life, which our parents like. If we see you sick every day, our parents are very sad. Only by caring for parents can we know how to be filial. So there are too many benefits of vegetarianism.

There are also some irritating things in vegetarian food that have a bad influence on physiology, that is, the "five spices" that are often heard, such as onions, garlic, leeks, buckwheat heads and onions. Xin is a vegetable, not meat. We are also called "five meat dishes", and meat is also a grass prefix, which is a kind of vegetables. These five kinds are clearly stated in the Shurangama Sutra. It is easy to lose your temper when eaten raw, and it is easy to cause sexual impulse when cooked, which will bring you troubles. Don't eat them. That's the reason. Buddha is a very reasonable person. Why are these things inedible? Buddha said this truth, we beginners have no determination, it is better to avoid it. Until you really make up your mind, have kung fu, and have no obstacles, Hua Yanjing said, "There are no obstacles for directors, and there are no obstacles for everything."

We should also know that all the commandments of the Buddha have an open edge, not a rigid one. Open the edge, you use it as seasoning and side dishes as seasoning. The weight is small, so you can't eat it. For example, eating garlic, like Shandong garlic peanuts, eating such a big bowl, that works. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about that diet. We can't stand it. It is too spicy. We eat one or two tablets, and it's hard to swallow. It must be understood that eating must reach that weight to be effective. Therefore, if the layman doesn't use these condiments to accompany dishes, his family will think that "this vegetarian dish is tasteless, it is better to eat meat." In order not to let him eat meat, we use these things as condiments, which does not hinder him. It's not very embarrassing in the temple. If the temple uses this as seasoning, the lay people will suspect that "this monk eats five meat dishes", but they don't understand this situation, so in order to avoid suspicion, it is best not to use it.

For example, there is alcohol in the five commandments (fundamental commandments). Alcohol is not a sex crime, but a cover-up, for fear that you will break other commandments when you are drunk. What's wrong with the wine itself? What's wrong with you if you don't get drunk? But why is Buddha so strict? I'm afraid you can't control yourself. Think about one cup after another. If you don't want to get drunk, you will get drunk naturally, and something will happen. That's why the precepts are so strict, because you can't control yourself. Be sure to understand this truth, every commandment has a cutting edge. Therefore, the Buddha is a very reasonable person. Buddhism gives us rationality and legality, and everything helps us to be healthy physically and mentally. We must understand what the Buddha means.
