The first phase of the project covers an area of 3,000 mu, and is planned and designed according to the national standard of 5A-level tourist attractions, so as to build a professional medicinal botanical garden with the collection of medicinal plant resources in the Yangtze River basin as the core and integrating resource protection, scientific research, popular science education, tourism and leisure.

The second phase of the project covers an area of about 1.500 mu, focusing on the industrialized production of precious Chinese herbal medicines, and building an intelligent greenhouse and a Chinese herbal medicine trading center on a large scale to make it a high-tech agricultural demonstration base.

The third phase of the project will build a scientific and technological research and development center, a physical examination and health center, an expert building and other supporting projects.
