Is black tea better or coffee better?
Black tea is good. According to the latest research of University of London, drinking black tea helps to relieve the stress in daily life and reduce the stress hormones in the blood. Studies have also shown that people who don't drink tea are almost twice as high as those who drink tea regularly, and their risk of cardiovascular disease will be higher. The University of London study was published in the journal Psychopharmacology. The researchers surveyed 75 young men who drank tea regularly for six weeks and divided them into two groups. During the experiment, they were asked to stop drinking tea, coffee or other caffeinated drinks, but one group drank fruit-flavored tea mixed with the main components of black tea, while the other group drank the same taste as caffeinated drinks, but without any tea ingredients. The two groups were arranged to deal with challenging and stressful jobs, and the researchers measured their adrenocortical hormones, blood pressure and platelet index. In several high-stress situations, including unemployment and being accused of shoplifting, blood pressure and heartbeat are obviously accelerated. After 50 minutes, the level of adrenal cortex in the tea drinking group decreased by 47% on average, while that in the other group decreased by only 27%. Researcher Professor Steptoe pointed out that the research results show that drinking black tea can accelerate people's release of stress in daily life. He said that although drinking black tea can not really relieve stress, black tea can indeed reduce the stress radicalism index to normal standards. He stressed that this discovery is extremely important for medical care, because if the body recovers slowly from extreme stress, it may lead to cardiovascular and other similar chronic diseases, and drinking tea can accelerate the process of stress release.
