Why did you become a vegetarian?
I have been a vegetarian since last June because I lost weight. In July, I went out to travel, volunteered at a Thai farm where monks were still secular, and ate vegetarian food for a week. In August, I meditated in a temple in Sri Lanka and ate vegetarian food for another week. Because of my meditation experience, I decided to believe in Buddhism. One thing is not to kill people. Imagine that I don't even want to hurt a mosquito that bit me, so I can only wave it away. Every time I see meat, I think of their dying eyes, so I have compassion. But I am not a vegetarian. I am still eating milk and eggs. I can't stop eating onions and garlic. Follow your heart.
