Art, physical education and science and technology education are dazzling, and the school track and field team and table tennis team have always been the champion teams of primary school students in provinces and cities. The school has successively won the titles of "National Advanced Unit in Sports Meeting Standards", "Changsha Advanced Unit in Implementing School Sports Work Regulations" and "Changsha Advanced Unit in Mass Sports", and participated in the opening ceremony of the National Five-City Games. The school holds campus art festivals with distinctive themes and various forms every year to provide a stage for students with artistic expertise and further promote the development of school art education. In recent years, students have won nearly 1,000 individual awards in various art competitions at all levels, and the school has been awarded the titles of "National Cradle of Art" and "Excellent Organizing Unit of Changsha Child Star Cup Art Grand Prix" for years.
