How to keep healthy stone flowers
To cultivate the original stone flower, we should choose a pottery pot or a purple sand pot with a basin depth of not less than 130mm and plant it with sand. Keep the growth temperature of 18 ~ 25℃ and ensure the illumination for about 4 hours every day. Water is poured every 15 days, and liquid fertilizer is also applied every 15 days. It is suggested that family planting should adopt cutting propagation.

1, suitable basin soil

Because the root of the original stone flower can grow to about 70mm, the selected depth of the pot is not less than 130mm, so that it has enough growth space. There are many kinds of fleshy pots on the market now, so it is recommended to use earthen pots or teapot.

The soil components used by succulents are mostly sand and gravel, which can be mixed and matched into planting soil according to the ratio of 5:3:2, or special nutrient soil for planting succulents can be purchased directly in the market.

2. Temperature and lighting

Gypsophila likes to live in a mild environment, and the temperature should be kept between 18 ~ 25℃. When cultivating outdoors, when the temperature is high in summer, you should move out of a relatively cool place. It is suggested that the temperature is too low in winter, and it is best to move indoors for maintenance.

Raw stone flowers are fleshy, so they also like light. Adequate light is beneficial to their growth, so ensure about 4 hours of light every day. When the temperature is high in summer, shading measures should be taken to avoid strong light from sunburning the original stone flower.

3. Water and fertilizer management

It is very important to control the amount and frequency of watering how to raise raw stone flowers. Generally, water is poured once every 15 days, so it is good to keep the soil moist without thorough watering. For example, in winter, when the temperature is low and the water evaporates slowly, you can water it once every 20 days.

Liquid fertilizer should be applied once every15th day in the long term, that is, in spring and autumn. No topdressing is needed when the growth stops in summer and when the growth is slow in winter.

4. Propagation methods There are three propagation methods of raw stone flowers: sowing, rameting and cutting. Cutting propagation is commonly used for propagation. Separate the leaves that grow well, insert them directly into the sand, and pour some water along the edge of the basin. It is suggested that breeding should be done well in the spring growing season.
