Chongqing dialect (pinyin: chóngqênghuà；; Chongqing dialect pronunciation: [ts _ o _ 21t _ in213xua213]) refers to the language used in southeast Sichuan in a narrow sense. (that is, Yuzhong District, Jiulongpo District, Shapingba District, Jiangbei District and Nan 'an District. Broadly speaking, it refers to people living in Chongqing, such as Tongliang District, Hechuan District, Fuling District and Dianjiang County. , belonging to Chengdu-Chongqing dialect, is one of the dialects in Sichuan-Guizhou dialect of Southwest Mandarin. Although in a broad sense, Chongqing dialect can also refer to the language used by all people in all districts and counties of Chongqing, there are still a large number of users of Minjiang dialect, Tukan dialect and Laohuguang dialect in some districts and counties of Chongqing. Therefore, the Chongqing dialect referred to academically is only the language of the main city (center) of Chongqing, which has the characteristics of being in a rising tone [1]. The user population accounts for about one-fifth of Chongqing's population. Due to the influence of "dialect popularization" on young people, the pronunciation of some words is close to Mandarin, while older Chongqing people still pronounce according to the traditional Chongqing dialect.
