Donglan is located in the northwest of Guangxi. Donglan Town, the county seat, is 30 kilometers away from Hechi City 130, an important town in northwest Guangxi, and 308 kilometers away from Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The county has a total area of 24 15 square kilometers and a total population of 278,200. Donglan, a red land, is the heart of Youjiang revolutionary base.
