The development of history

The territory of Shuangluan District originally belonged to Luanping County, and was transferred to Chengde City after 1958. Shuangluan District was established in 1985.

In 2000, damiao town, Shuangta Mountain, Luanhe River and Pianqiaozi were under the jurisdiction of Shuangluan District. In 2007, according to the spirit of relevant documents of Hebei provincial government, Chenzhazi Township of Luanping County was placed under the jurisdiction of Shuangluan District of Chengde City.
