Eight-pulse intersection points, one * * * eight points, namely Gongsun, Neiguan, Zulinqi, Waiguan, Houxi, Shenmai, Lieque and Zhao Hai. "Medical Classic Primary School" compiled these eight acupoints into a Song formula: "Gongsun's pulse, stomach and heart are consistent; The weeping gallbladder meridian is connected with the pulse, and the eye of Yang Wei is sharp and close to the outside; After the stream governor neck, ginseng Maiyang is also connected; There is no pulse leading to the lung system, and the yin squats in the throat of the diaphragm. " Let's look at these eight acupoints.

According to Song's formula, the intersection of eight veins is collocated up and down, and divided into four groups to play a synergistic role, which makes the clinical effect more remarkable. Its composition and indications are as follows:

Clinically, for simple diseases of zang-fu organs, we can choose syndrome differentiation of zang-fu organs and more specific points of corresponding zang-fu organs. For diseases of the head, face and limbs, acupoints in the twelve meridians are usually selected; Other diseases are complicated, and it is difficult to generalize the pathogenesis by meridians and viscera. You can choose the upper acupoints of the eight odd meridians.
"Introduction to Medicine" says: "365 points of the whole body are unified in 66 points of hands and feet, and 66 points are unified in eight points", which means that the intersection of eight veins can treat systemic diseases, and the indications of eight points are very wide. Therefore, Gui Ling's Eight Methods can be applied to systemic diseases through the intersection of eight veins.
The Eight Methods of Guiling correspond the intersection of the Eight Veins with the directions and figures of the Eight Diagrams one by one, and then calculate the corresponding figures according to heavenly stems and earthly branches at that time, so as to calculate the acupoints at a certain moment, and then select the acupoints and prescribe a prescription. The specific deduction method can be found in the following links: "Eight Laws of Guiling" only uses eight acupoints passing through strange meridians and eight veins, which is the simplest application of time medicine.
