When ducklings eat millet, they can choose to soak the millet before feeding it, or they can directly feed the millet that has not been soaked to the ducklings. If you use boiled millet and feed it to the duckling after soaking it soft, it will help the duckling to digest it better and reduce the burden on the stomach. Doing so can help ducklings adapt to this new food, millet. On the other hand, soak the millet in cold water, soak it for 2~3 minutes and then feed it, so that the duckling can gradually adapt to the millet without sugar. Whether soaked or not, millet has a high starch content (about 70%) and is rich in nutrients such as protein, fat and carotene.
