What is the purpose of buying wine?
I drank a little wine myself a few years ago, and I would like to attend some banquet occasions. At that time, there were more opportunities to buy wine. As for the purpose of buying wine, there are several aspects:

1, drink by yourself. I am tired from work during the day, or my wife cooks a good dish, or for no reason, I have a drink or two. If you want to drink, of course you have to buy wine.

2. Etiquette for entertaining guests or wineries. We have guests at home, so we can't live without wine. If someone else has an appointment, of course you can't bring two bottles of wine empty-handed, which seems to be a lot of trouble.

3. Give gifts. During the Chinese New Year holiday, visiting relatives and friends, or entrusting people to do things, or visiting "important people", sending some wine is better than sending some snacks.

4. There are weddings and funerals at home or building a house. This needs no explanation. Now that there is a "big event" at home, it is necessary to arrange banquets and entertain guests.

What about now? I have basically given up drinking myself. So, I won't buy it just because I want to drink it. But because of entertaining guests or occasionally "giving gifts", it is inevitable to buy wine.
