After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as the chairman of Zhanjiang Buddhist Association, vice chairman and president of Guangzhou Buddhist Association, president of Guangdong Buddhist Association, director and executive director of Chinese Buddhist Association, and concurrently served as the abbot of Liu Rong Temple from 65438 to 0983.
