The practice of tea-flavored chicken
1.
Wash the whole chicken and remove the feet and buttocks.
2.
Melt salt, sugar (or honey), chicken essence and soy sauce in a small bowl to make sauce, and shred ginger.
3.
Spread the prepared sauce evenly on the inside and outside of the chicken. Fill the chicken belly with shredded ginger and marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
4.
When curing chicken, rinse the tea leaves with boiling water.
5.
After the chicken is salted, half of the tea leaves are picked out and put into the chicken's stomach, and the other half of the tea leaves and tea leaves are put into the electric pressure cooker together with the whole chicken.
6.
Select the "Chicken and Duck" program, and then wait for the chicken to come out of the pot.
Cooking tips
This dish doesn't need many common condiments, such as pepper and aniseed, because the aroma of these condiments is too strong to cover the aroma of tea, and the tea itself has a fishy smell, so I only use shredded ginger.
