The Collection of the Essence of Taoist Collection is a Taoist classic series compiled by Ding, the eldest son of the Republic of China. It is divided into ten episodes, each with ten kinds, and Taoist books 100, with a total of 148 volumes. There is an abstract under each catalogue, which briefly describes the source and content of the book and evaluates its functions and advantages. The core of the collection of books is Seven Signs of Yun Qi, Ten Books of Truth Determination and The True Source of Taoist Temple, and the selection is quite strict. All books of Taoism, including Laozi, Zhuangzi and Liee. The books collected by Collected Taoist Scriptures, Zhai Jie and Waidan Huangbai were all discarded. The selected books are all the essence of Taoist books, such as Taoist scholarship, discussion on Neidan, secrets of health preservation, biographies of Taoist priests, historical records of sects, and catalogues of Taoist books, etc., with special emphasis on the role of Neidan in treating diseases and prolonging life, such as absorbing life and refining qi, as well as classics closely related to spiritual cultivation, such as "The View of the Old Gentleman in Taishang" and "Quiet Sutra". For a masterpiece, only the essence is extracted when selecting the book, and the hundred books do not exceed ten volumes. The collection of Taoist books is mainly collected from Daozang, and books in Ming and Qing Dynasties are also collected from people's works in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, such as Liu's Reading Daozang. There are hundreds of Taoist books in this book, and the selection criteria are essence, goodness and sincerity. Simple and appropriate, organized in detail. It has a considerable scale, is quite popular after publication, and has a slightly wider spread. This book was printed in Shi Ding, Wuxi during the Republic of China, and reprinted by Zhejiang Ancient Books Publishing House in 1999.
