Imperial Diet in Ming Dynasty —— Xiamen Wotou Oyster Porridge
"Wotou Oyster Dry Porridge" originated from 1750 (the 15th year of Qianlong), and was made with secret seasoning handed down by Jiang Jiazu. It is famous for its delicacy, beauty and health, and has a history of nearly 300 years.

According to legend, dried oyster porridge was originally prepared in the imperial chef for the pregnancy of Chiang Kai-shek, the mother of Emperor Jiajing. Jiang Fei (the mother of Emperor Jiajing), the wife of King Zhu Shiyuan (the father of Emperor Jiajing), was pregnant with Liu Jia, but MC Davi didn't expect it. She invited chefs from all over Wang Zhao, imperial chefs in the palace and famous folk chefs in Huguang to serve dishes of various tastes, which were not to Chiang Kai-shek's taste. Wang Xing was furious. A royal chef was in a hurry: Jiang Fei likes oysters, but she feels sick because she is too fat. Why not dry them in the sun to get rid of fat? Oysters can also "regulate qi and blood". So, the chef cooked and dried the selected oysters, and added more than a dozen recipes such as pig bones, old hen soup, carrots, japonica rice and shredded ginger to cook. After eating ginger, the appetite recovered. Wang Yan liked Prince Zhu Houzong (later Emperor Jiajing) very much, while Zhu Houzong showed great wisdom from an early age. After he acceded to the throne, he also used this porridge as a royal diet to keep fit and named it "Tianxia Strange Porridge" for the beauty and moisturizing of the Queen Mother and the concubines in the palace. Since then, oyster porridge has become the royal meal of the palace.

One day, the Chiang family's father, Zhongxing Military Forces Division, told Jiang Tai to visit him. Because of the long journey and Jiang Tai's advanced age, he was exhausted when he arrived in Xing. The filial daughter is considerate and caring for her father and can't bear the fatigue of the journey. The chef in the palace was specially appointed to cook dried oyster porridge for her father to taste. Dai Jiang's feeling of fatigue from the journey was swept away after drinking Li Du dry porridge. Because it tastes delicious, I heard that this kind of porridge has the effect of health care and physical fitness. Since then, dried oyster porridge has become the secret recipe of the ginger family. Later, due to historical reasons, in order to prevent the secret recipe from being lost and stolen, the Chiang family put the secret recipe on the beam of Jiang's ancestral home, which was once lost. It was not until the fifteenth year of Qianlong (1750) that the secret recipe was rediscovered when the descendants of Jiang rebuilt their ancestral houses. "Dry Oyster Porridge" followed the Chiang family through ups and downs, creating a generation after generation of all-powerful figures. According to Jiang Jiazu's master, every time Jiang Gong ate it, his mood suddenly relaxed and he was full of praise, which was worthy of being called "the palace caters to food and porridge is wonderful in the world".

As a descendant of the Jiang family, Mr. Jiang, the seventh generation successor of Wotou Oyster Porridge, is committed to inheriting the ancestral business, carrying forward the legacy of the Jiang family and constantly innovating. He developed four-season health porridge according to the physical therapy concept of traditional Chinese medicine and the thought of homology of medicine and food, and with the firm belief of "one porridge goes all over the world", he vowed to carry forward beauty beauty, Imperial Palace original products and Wotou oyster porridge for health preservation.
