What's Zhang Congzheng's view and opinion on health preservation?
In terms of health preservation, Zhang advocated eliminating evil and strengthening the body resistance, and advocated taking attack as defense and preventing diseases. He believes that eliminating pathogenic factors means strengthening the body resistance, and opposes the narrow view that only ginseng and astragalus are "supplements". He also put forward the view that "health care should be supplemented by food, and treatment should be attacked by medicine".

The core of his health care thought is the viewpoint that "a gentleman is more valuable than stagnation", and points out some methods such as adjusting diet, using drugs, quitting housework and practicing Qigong. In disease prevention and health care, we also pay special attention to the holistic view of people and social environment and the holistic view of body and emotion, thus enriching the contents of psychosomatic medicine and health sociology of traditional Chinese medicine.
