Jiangxi Vocational College of Agricultural Engineering is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning organized by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. It is the second batch of 1+X certificate system pilot colleges of the Ministry of Education, high-quality vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province, modern agricultural technology training base of the Ministry of Agriculture, modern young farmers training base in Jiangxi Province, and continuing education and training base of senior agricultural technicians in Jiangxi Province.
Historical evolution:
Jiangxi Vocational College of Agricultural Engineering was founded in 1940 as Qingjiang County Junior Vocational School of Agriculture and Forestry, and 1954 was renamed as Jiangxi Zhangshu Agricultural School. 1959, Jiangxi Zhangshu Agricultural School merged with Jiangxi Nanchang Agricultural College. 196 1, colleges and universities separated, Yichun Agricultural College moved to Yichun, and Jiangxi Zhangshu Agricultural School continued to run schools at the original site.
