The physical examination standards of all majors are in accordance with the Notice on Printing and Distributing (hereinafter referred to as the Guidance on Physical Examination) and the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Health on Cancelling the Detection of Hepatitis B Projects in Colleges and Universities. Candidates' physical conditions do not meet the requirements of the reported major, and they cannot be transferred to other majors to retire. Freshmen should have a physical examination after entering school. Those who fail the physical examination will be treated according to different situations until they are disqualified.

According to the guidance of physical examination, combined with the actual requirements of professional training and the employment prospects of students in Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the supplementary explanations are as follows:

(1) Candidates suffer from six major diseases listed in Article 1 of the Physical Examination Guide, and Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine will not accept them;

(2) Candidates who cannot complete their studies and cannot take care of themselves will not be admitted to Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine;

(3) Those with mild color vision abnormality (commonly known as color weakness) or second-degree color vision abnormality (commonly known as color blindness) will not be admitted to the majors of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, Dai medicine, rehabilitation of traditional Chinese medicine, health preservation of traditional Chinese medicine, pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine, orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine, clinical medicine of traditional Chinese and western medicine, pharmacy, pharmaceutical preparations, traditional Chinese medicine, resources and development of traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation treatment, nursing, pharmaceutical engineering, etc.

(4) Those who can't accurately identify any color of red, yellow, green, blue and purple will not be admitted to Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine;

(5) Disabled candidates should carefully fill in the majors of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, Dai medicine, rehabilitation of traditional Chinese medicine, health preservation of traditional Chinese medicine, pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine, orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine, clinical medicine of traditional Chinese and western medicine, rehabilitation treatment and nursing;

(6) Boys whose height is less than 1.65m and girls whose height is less than 1.58m should report to the nursing profession cautiously.
