Dujiangyan is a world cultural heritage (listed in the "World Cultural Heritage" list by UNESCO in 2000), a world natural heritage (giant panda habitat in Sichuan), a national key cultural relics protection unit, a national scenic spot and a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction.
Dujiangyan is located in the west of Dujiangyan City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on the Minjiang River in the west of Chengdu Plain. It was built in the last years of Zhao Haoqi in the Qin Dynasty (about 256 BC-25 BC 1 year) [BC1year]. It is a large-scale water conservancy project organized by Li Bing and his son, the magistrate of Shu County, on the basis of previous Master Roshi. It consists of a fish mouth, a flying sand weir, a bottle mouth and other parts. It has been playing an important role for more than 2,000 years and Chengdu Plain has become a "land of abundance" with thousands of miles of floods and droughts. Qingcheng Mountain, a world cultural heritage, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national key scenic spot, a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction and a global Taoist holy place, is one of the four famous Taoist mountains in China, one of the Five Immortals Mountain, one of the cradles of Taoism in China and one of the top ten scenic spots in Chengdu.
Qingcheng Mountain is located in the southwest of Dujiangyan City, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, 68km east of Chengdu City and10km southwest of Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project. The scenic spot covers an area of 200 square kilometers, and the highest peak, Laojunge, is 1.260 meters above sea level. Qingcheng Mountain is divided into front mountain and back mountain. Surrounded by undulating peaks and lush forests, it enjoys the reputation of "Qingcheng is quiet in the world".
The whole mountain forest is evergreen and surrounded by mountains, hence the name Qingcheng Mountain. Dan steps a thousand steps, winding paths lead to secluded places, and quiet and clean wins. Inside and outside the scenic spot, the tranquility of Shi Tian Cave and Yuanming Palace is a major feature of Qingcheng Mountain.
