The difference between old people who stay healthy and those who don't.
Because of my work, I often go to the nursing home in our county to send condolences.

I have been there many times, so I found a very interesting phenomenon. More than half of the elderly are slow-moving, have signs of dementia and are not interested in anything. Every day, they sit in the yard in the sun except eating, and sit in bed in a daze or lie down on rainy days.

There are also a few elderly people who are very active. Every time I go, they see me from a distance and pick up my things. They smile, their faces are rosy and shiny, and their movements are not slow at all.

I asked Dr. Zhang, who often takes care of them, why they all live together and what is the difference between them. Dr. Zhang told me that there is such a big difference because some old people live a regular life every day and keep a curiosity. So how should the elderly keep in good health?

Dr. Zhang told me that I summarized the following points.

1: Aerobic exercise is preferred. For the elderly, exercise that suits them is the best. The degree of exercise is based on not feeling tired, or it is not enough to split in two. Just three times.

Get up slowly in the morning. Get up in the morning, first move your head and neck in bed. Be careful to move slowly here, and avoid big moves and fast moves. Because this slow activity can avoid fluctuations in blood pressure.

3. Old people who soak their feet before going to bed maintain regular living habits every day, and soak their feet with warm water before going to bed at night, which is beneficial to sleep, promote blood circulation and relieve fatigue of the day.

4. Moderate muscle strength exercise We have seen the video of Zhong Nanshan exercising muscles and explained the importance of muscle strength exercise to the elderly. Because with the increase of age, muscles will become less and less, and their functions will decline. When we exercise our muscles, we will slow down the pace of aging. Regular muscle exercise can also promote blood circulation.

5. Adjustment of mentality Many elderly people are old, lose interest in life, and don't know how to care for their bodies, which leads to many diseases, so mentality is the key to active health care for the elderly.
