Jinan Massage Hospital, founded in 1976, is a non-profit specialized medical institution with Chinese medicine massage as its main feature. It is a designated hospital for basic medical insurance in Jinan, and it belongs to Jinan Disabled Persons' Federation. This hospital is one of the earliest units in China to centrally arrange visually impaired people to engage in massage work, which fully embodies the spirit of self-reliance and social participation of visually impaired people in China. The hospital inherited and carried forward the traditional Chinese massage therapy, and formed the medical characteristics of Chinese massage therapy, supplemented by rehabilitation physiotherapy. In the treatment of cervical spondylosis, scapulohumeral periarthritis, lumbar disc herniation, children's cerebral palsy, myopia, amblyopia and other dozens of diseases, remarkable results have been achieved. Since the establishment of the hospital, more than 3 million patients have been treated with Chinese massage, and services are often provided to people from abroad, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, which has relieved the pain of the majority of patients.
