Is there Yang Yugan in history?
There is no martial arts master named Yang Yugan in history. Jason Wu's TV series is based on Yang Luchan, the founder of Yang Taiji in the late Qing Dynasty.

Yang Luchan, a native of Yongnian, Hebei Province, studied under Chen Changxing. Chen Changxing is good at gun and hammer, and later he entered Henan (recognized by Yang's, Wu's and Zhao Bao's Tai Chi Chuan), and gained Tai Chi Chuan [1]. Yang Luchan longed for the mystery of Tai Ji Chuan for a long time. Chen Jiagou went to Chen Changxing to learn Taiji Chuan, and then he went to Beijing. All the martial artists in Beijing challenged him and lost. So, it's famous. At that time, the martial arts world called it "invincible Yang", when princes and nobles followed the scholars. Tai Ji Chuan developed into a martial art, which laid the foundation for Yang Luchan.

Since it is based on Yang Luchan, it is of course from Yongnian, Hebei! He invented the "Jade Shuttle" to coax a group of dignitaries in Beijing.

Tell his descendants to listen to you!

After the death of Yang Luchan, his two sons, Yang Jianhou and Yang Banhou, inherited his martial arts. Hot personality after work, nickname hit the nail on the head. Later, he injured someone and couldn't stand in Beijing. He spread a boxing rack in Hebei, which is Tai Chi used in actual combat.

Hou Jian, on the other hand, is gentle and pays attention to health preservation. After continuous development and improvement, it has become the gas commonly used in Yang Tai today. You see, what the old man is playing in the park is to build a boxing stand.
